The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. Welcome to the off-the-grid cabin built by our family. You can play games around the woodstove, cook over a campfire, and have smores with your family. It's 16'x16' with a sleeping loft and cupola for kids to play in. Usually you'll only hear the sounds of peepers and crickets, and often you'll experience the almost extinct sound of dead silence. A piano, guitar, dulcimer, pump organ, and many board games are in the cabin.
