Located in the hills of mystical Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, Moonshine Inn Pool Level Suite is walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and boutiques and a 5-minute cab or bus ride to the national park and splendid beaches that make this a world-class destination. Moonshine Inn is located just far enough off the beaten track to provide true jungle privacy and escape, while still being close to the center of all the action of this popular hillside beach town often referred to as "The Riviera" of Central America. This listing is for the entire first floor unit at Moonshine Inn. This pool-level 2-bedroom modern open concept suite measures 1475 square feet of interior space and includes a full kitchen with eating bar, a combined livingroom/dining area, 2 large bathrooms, plus access to an outdoor bathroom with private shower and another outdoor shower (shared with upper level suite), a laundry room, loads of closet and storage space, outdoor lounge area, and offers ocean, pool, jungle and mountain views. The infinity pool and sun-heated Jacuzzi are shared with other guests staying in the other private suite with its own entrance on the second level of the property. (Maximum guest capacity at Moonshine Inn when fully booked is 10 people). There are A/C units in each bedroom, cable TV and Netflix, free wireless 100 mbps Internet, and many ceiling fans that circulate a cool breeze day both inside and outside the property. The kitchen is fully stocked with cook/dinner/serving ware as well as blender for fresh tropical fruit drinks and coffeemaker as well as a supply of complimentary Costa Rican organic coffee from the host's family's coffee farm in Costa Rica's Central Valley. Guests have access to the laundry facilities, as well as shared access to the pool, outdoor bathroom and outdoor showers. Each unit has two parking spots included. A grill for outdoor cooking is available. Someone is always available (sometimes onsite other times by telephone) to help make sure your stay is all you hope it to be and more. Whether you need nature tour recommendations, help booking excursions for ziplining, whitewater rafting, fishing, local dining recommendations or help arranging for transportation to/from the airport, our concierge is happy to help. This off the beaten path is often undiscovered by the majority of tourists who come to visit Manuel Antonio -- and that's what makes it so special. The neighborhood is where local "Tico" families, expatriates, and tourists all live in harmony and enjoy a truly "pura vida" lifestyle. We close and lock our driveway gate at night and guests have remote control access for added security. A small grocery store, a bar and two restaurants are within a 10-minute walk and the main road of Manuel Antonio and all its dining, shopping and entertainment options is less than a half mile. The bus runs every 15 minutes from Quepos to Manuel Antonio beach/national park and the stop is aslo about a 10-minute walk from Moonshine's front gate. Costa Rica is known to have occasional power and water outages -- usually only for short periods (usually less than an hour) but they can be disruptive at times. Each unit is supplied with candles, flash lights, and has a water tank reserve should an outage occur during your stay.

The house is located in Miravalles a part of the town of San Isidro de El General in the southwestern part of Costa Rica up in the mountains but only around 45 min from the beach in Dominical. This area is only 15 min away from downtown of San Isidro but has a very calming atmosphere and since it is at an elevation of approx. 1000m above sea level the nights are pleasant and cool.
