Nice, spacious house matching perfectly matching the description and photos. Worked perfectly for four adults and four kids. Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Great place for a family with small kids. Spacious and in a quiet neighborhood. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and other toys. Host was flexible with check in and efficient/accommodating even though previous guests checked out a bit late.

We stayed wishing to catch the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to do so each night and be there for a huge solar storm. We ventured out the first night and after that realized we were able to stay comfy at our airbnb and see them both in the front yard and backyard. The house was spacious and our children 7 & 1 loved the books and toys available. We were offered a portable crib and high chair which were convenient. There were plenty of novels for adults and a variety of books on Iceland. There is a washer and large drying rack, dishwasher, and full kitchen which was wonderful since it is a serene spot you can relax and not run down the road 15 minutes for food or coffee. I enjoyed walking the road to the church and admiring the horses next door. The location is remote and going to parks or the city required an hour drive. Our host was gracious and extended our check out which was helpful. Thank you for your hospitality.

the house isn't just an Airbnb, its home. We were 4 adults and 4 kids and the home was big enough for all of us. loved the place, and Jenny was very helpful and she quickly responded to all my questions. would definitely recommend.

Provavelmente um dos melhores locais onde ficamos, pois a casa é muito superior ao que as fotografias mostram. A localização é maravilhosa, a casa e as comodidades simplesmente soberbas, sem duvida local que iremos voltar na próxima visita a Islândia. Durante a nossa estadia sentimo-nos completamente em casa, o conforto, todos os utensílios na cozinha disponíveis, aquecimento central ótimo, enfim recomendamos é só podemos agradecer a Helga por nos proporcionar esta experiência.

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at Elsa’s beautiful home a little north of Reykjavik. A subdivision with gorgeous scenery and access to the incredible network of walking and biking paths across the street. We rented a car and we’re happy to have a great bakery, a nice Mexican restaurant and a great supermarket and ice cream - all our needs for the kids right there. We explored Thingvellir, geysir and gullfoss and borgarnes in east day trips and hot rubbed at home morning and night. Elsa was a great communicator and sleeping was cozy and very quiet. I recommend Björg's flat in Reykjavik. It has everything you need for cooking; at least three supermarkets are really close by. Everything in Reykjavik is reachable in under an hour by foot. This is a perfect origin for your explorations and also a perfect destination for relaxing after a longer trip. I would definitely choose the accommodation again.

Our family of 5 stayed at Svavar’s apartment over New Years. It was a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was clean, spacious yet cozy and beautifully decorated - with a Christmas tree and lots of Christmas lights which made it feel festive. There were plenty of closet/drawer space for our belongings. We also appreciated the off-street parking. Svavar was a great host - always responsive and offering helpful suggestions. We cannot wait to return!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Magnús has been a great host, polite, kind and really helpfull. The house is beautiful, full-equiped and nice located (could even see the northern lights here). We had an incident with the jacuzzi and he helped us super fast. Would recommend this acommodation 100%.

Asa was a lovely host. She was very quickly responsive every time we messaged. We were able to check in early after our morning flight which was such a wonderful surprise. She reached out to us first thing that morning to ask when we landed and offered for us to come early. We were allowed to park in the garden adjacent to the building which was very convenient. It is dry walkable to attractions, located a few blocks from Rainbow Rd and the Hallgrimskirkja Cathedral. The place itself has everything you need including extra bedding for the couch if needed. Asa made sure we had coffee when we arrived and even left a couple sweet treats and energy drinks in the fridge!

Thank you for your great hospitality and life lessons while we explored your beautiful country! Our most breathtaking day was driving up to Snæfellsjökull Peninsula/National Park. Your providing a car with the airbnb was so appreciated- as was the pickup from the airport and the stop to see your "friend". Thanks for making us feel at home while traveling abroad.

Very attractive and comfortable cabin in a beautiful area which feels entirely private despite being only an hour from Reykjavik. Great base for hiking or sightseeing. We had five days here and felt we only scratched the surface of what the area has to offer. Cabin is very well and thoughtfully equipped. Matthias was a great host and offered fantastic recommendations of things to do and see. No hesitation at all in recommending.

We had a fantastic stay here! The views from the apartment were so wonderful to wake up to everyday. The place was always warm and cosy which was nice to come into from the cold. Great kitchen set up with everything you need to make meals. We loved using the fire stove for making tea in the evening and toasting marshmallows! Daði was a lovely host, very responsive and gave great recommendations. He was very relaxed and just wanted to make everything easy for us which was very much appreciated and made our time in Iceland all the better! Thank you!

Wir hatten eine so schöne Zeit in Haukurs Unterkunft. Die Hütte ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so braucht, sehr gemütlich und traumhaft ruhig gelegen mitten in der Natur. Der Blick auf den See, der Kamin und der Hot Tub waren unser Highlight. Perfekt um so richtig zu entspannen. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had such a great time, the cabin exceeded expectations in every way! Lilja was very responsive and helpful for any questions we had. The most beautiful surroundings and so peaceful! We enjoyed the hot tub, dart board and pool table. We even got to see the auroras on 2 separate nights which was a real highlight! The kitchen is small with a small over, this didn’t matter for us but could be useful to know if you were not planning to go out much. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this cabin!!

This was a great place to stay, cabin had everything we needed and was very well equipped. The place was super clean and matched the description very well. It was a great place to unwind in and watch a movie after a long travel day with great views to fall asleep and wake up to. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Zilvina's. The location is even more beautiful than in the photos. The house is at the end of a lane and has great privacy and no other houses in view from inside, some in the distance from the garden. The view over the snowy hills in early March was incredible, and we watched the most impressive northern lights we have ever seen right on the doorstep. The morning light was glorious and it is worth planning a slow breakfast at the cabin. It was difficult getting the fire to restart at night once it had cooled down, and the sofa bed and pillows were uncomfortable, but overall it was very atmospheric staying in a wood-heated, solar-powered cabin and we loved our stay.

Beautiful house in the middle of lush green mountains, waking up in such a lovely place was lovely , really set the tone for the day. Couldn’t ask for a more helpful host
