River Lodge

This beautiful granite gate lodge is over 200 years old and is tucked inside the entrance to The Manor Cottages. It overlooks the Brittas river which is full of wildlife all year round. The cottage has recently been renovated in a traditional style but with all the modern day comforts. The cottage has a romantic feel to it and is wonderfully private. The cottage has its own designated parking area and a large private garden. It’s close to both Dublin and the airport yet feels wonderfully remote.

Overlooking Dublin Bay, the cabin is only a short spin away from Dublin City. Marlay Park, Cruagh woods, Hell Fire Club, Massey's Estate, Sally Gap; the most famous Irish pubs -Merry Plawboy, Johnny Fox’s etc are at your doorstep. O'Rourkes cottage is situated in the picturesque valley of Glenasmole, nestled in the foothills of the Dublin mountains overlooking Dublin city. The cottage has 2 bedroom, sitting room and kitchen with a woodland garden. Ideally situated to enjoy the the Dublin Wicklow mountains . The cottage includes central heating, wood burning stove, cooker, electric shower. We are now operating a minimum two night stay. Please note, host can not be held responsible for lost or damaged personal property.

Perfect for one person or a couple. Studio 3 is cute, clean and self-contained with a private outdoor space. It is served by excellent public transport (buses are less than 10 minutes walk away). It takes about 40 minutes to the city centre (outside rush-hours). The Dublin's LUAS rail system is also close by. The immediate area is well served by coffee shops, shops, supermarkets, restaurants, parks and, of course, gastro pubs!
