After a long day, sea wary sportsmen return to their favorite speakeasy to enjoy refreshing beverages, great food, music and laughter while recounting their day’s adventure. Many of these speakeasies became legendary in their own right.
Frigate’s Waterfront Bar & Grill is one of those gathering places, located on the Eau Gallie River in beautiful Melbourne. Frigate’s Waterfront Bar & Grill is the newest Tropical Restaurant on the Space Coast.
Come by land or come by sea and watch your favorite sporting event on one their many Flat Screen TVs — all while being nestled beneath the tropical palms, surrounded by island music, enjoying your favorite food and beverage.

The Indian Harbour Beach Recreation Center is located in beautiful 27-acre Gleason Park on the corner of South Patrick Drive and Yacht Club Boulevard.
The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of classes, services and activities, ranging from those for toddlers and preschoolers, to a Senior Leisure-time Club, and something for everyone in between.
Also located in the park is the City’s heated competition-size swimming pool – open seven days a week year-round, shuffleboard courts, two playgrounds, a walking/exercise trail and picnic facilities.
Some of the special activities offered through our Recreation Department include the annual Art & Crafts Show held the third Saturday in November, the annual Breakfast With The Easter Bunny, the Shark in the Park 5k run, and numerous pool activities including American Red Cross instructed summer swim lessons.
The City’s premiere event is our annual Christmas In The Park celebration, featuring our beautiful lit tree on the lake, caroling, children’s shows and a visit by Santa who is transported via our 1960 American LaFrance fire truck to meet with all the youngsters or young at heart.
