Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

Hui Zhen is a helpful and friendly host. The bed is comfortable and the shower is hot. There is a kitchen, bathroom and living room with a TV. Asda supermarket is virtually next door. There are also pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants nearby. It's a nice area. Suitable for people travelling alone.

Michael's house was absolutely perfect. It's super stylish (like a boutique hotel), very comfortable and well equipped but also homely and personal which all in all makes it a wonderful place to stay. lots of nice touches like snacks and drinks. It's in a great neighbourhood with nice pubs nearby, and handy for the bus into city centre. The house is very quiet at night and the beds very comfortable. Michael was a responsive and helpful host, although we didn't meet in person. we would highly recommend his house to anyone staying in the beautiful city of Sheffield...

Hui Zhen was a great host and always fast to respond. The location was clean and accurate to the listing. She offered helpful advice for local amenities and parking.

My 3 night stay here was very pleasant, nice and quiet and just the job for what I needed - a bed to come back to for the night! Spotlessly clean and a well run operation. The location is in a nice area and was conveniently close to where my student son was staying. Enjoyed my chats with Hui Zhen!

Absolutely everything I needed whilst staying in the area for work Raymond is a real character, really enjoyed chatting with him. Would reccomend!

Clean, well-equipped, three-bedroomed house at the edge of Sheffield city centre, near the University. It’s on the edge of a busy roundabout and road, but the traffic didn’t bother us. Would suit three singles, a small family or possibly two couples. There’s a tram stop a few minutes’ walk with frequent trams to the city centre, Ponds Forge, the English Institute of Sport, Meadowhall, etc. It’s also easy to walk into town – about 20 minutes to the Crucible Theatre – and there are loads of bars, restaurants and shops along the route (West Street and Division Street). Parking permits are provided so you can park close to the property. Claire is a brilliant host – helpful and responsive. We had a great stay!

This is right in the middle of walking country, 5 or 10 minutes walk from shops and pubs, and only 10 minutes drive from the edge of Huddersfield, so very conveniently located. The house is exceptionally well stocked, and very comfortable, especially the master bed, and the peaceful neighbourhood and blackout curtains made it a perfect place to rest. Liz was very welcoming and accommodating during my stay, the flowers and shortbread were a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great long weekend at Benedikte's place. It was a great base to explore the peak district from. Hayfield has some great food/drink options and there are some good walks starting from the doorstep. The cottage was cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Benedikte was a great responsive host. This property is ideal for a few days stay in the area. It's not huge but perfectly adequate for 2 adults. And an ideal base for visiting local attractions in the area. It is very good value for money. Trudi was a great host

Fantastic house, beautifully presented. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Felt cosy despite being a large house. perfect for a group of people. A very stocked kitchen - everything we needed. comfortable beds and crisp clean linen. We all loved it.

I booked this as a Christmas present for my partner Jane and have to say the place was fantastic. Cosy Heather cottage is a short walk to Ashbourne where there is a large number of restaurants to choose from and some interesting independent shops as well It is very well appointed and comfortable and proved to be a fantastic base to explore the wider area and we were blessed with perfect weather as well Fantastic stay and Amanda is an excellent host. Thoroughly recommend

We had an amazing weekend. Max is a fantastic host. Really responsive and helpful. The place itself was perfect. Our daughters loved their holiday home and are asking when we can go back.

Great house to stay in. Spacious and very very clean. We had everything we needed here. Parking in the street with a permit provided by Ann was so easy - its a big help when you can get easy parking outside the house. Ann was easy to contact and deal with and very friendly. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again.

Lovely home, boutique decor feel. 3 double bedrooms were all beautiful and very comfy. Lots of welcoming touches and pet friendly. House situated in a great location, town centre at the top of the street (1 min walk) with great places to eat on doorstep. Leek Bar and Grill (Mediterranean Restaurant) served delicious food ( great vegetarian options), very reasonable prices. Dogs welcome. Lots charity shops and independent shops. Down the street the other way is Brough Park (5 mins walk). Huge beautiful park, fantastic for dog walks and the skate park area was a hit with my son. Lidl supermarket round the corner. Great base, drove to the beautiful village of Castleton (45 min drive) and visit to the Caverns, stunning views. Plenty other places to go walking within 40 mins drive including Luds Church stunning views 20 mins drive. Perfect for myself 2 kids and a dog. Small town house, Living room ok for us but 4 + would be a squeeze. Compact but beautiful, cosy, warm and practical.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exceptionally well-maintained and equipped with state-of-the-art appliances. The host was responsive and provided generous welcome gifts, including cookies, milk, juice, tea, and coffee.

Had a brilliant stay here, really perfect for what we needed. Generous bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms. Everything was clean and well presented. A fantastic place to stay for a few nights

We had a lovely few days in the cottage. It was nice and clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The only downside was that although there was parking outside, there wasn't a space available and we had to park elsewhere.
