Sip your morning coffee while taking in mountain views, then walk or drive .6 miles down to your own dock space to swim, fish, or simply enjoy your favorite cold beverage on the gorgeous Indian Lake. Cap off your day with dinner and drinks at the Lodge, which is a short .2 mile walk from the chalet.

Need a getaway in the middle of the woods? Come visit the Whispering Pines Cottage in the mountains. Surrounded by beautiful nature, streams, forests, hiking trails, and so much more! We are located near Linn Run State Park, Powdermill Nature Reserve, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Ohiopyle, and the beautiful, quaint village of Ligonier! Our cottage has a full kitchen with all the basics, 2 beds, and a fully equipped bathroom. We do not have cell reception. Our wifi is VERY SLOW/does not work.

Mountain Oasis Cottage

Our Cottage is located at the base of a mountain on a dead end road it is very tranquil with a lot of deer and wildlife that feed in the back yard. We are 15 minutes from the city of Cumberland Maryland where the “Western Maryland Bike Trail” is located and 30 minutes from historic Bedford, PA. The Cottage has two bedrooms that each feature queen size beds, one living room with a pull out queen size sofa bed, and a sitting room with a full size pull out sofa bed. We also have central air!!
