The house is surrounded by forest and lakeshore with no direct neighbors, and only 5 minutes from Detour Village and the Drummond Island ferry. Located on Lake Huron, we have hundreds of feet of lakeshore, including a private sand beach. A great location for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and ship watching. The house has 3 bedrooms, full bath downstairs, half bath upstairs, and a deck on the front with full lake views.

Full size kitchen (stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker & kettle) & bathroom (shower only). 32 inch TV with a Firestick, there is no cable. There is WIFI. Sleeps 4. 1 queen bed on the main level & 2 single beds in the loft (ladder access only) Screened in porch with BBQ ( new in 2024) And a deck in front of the porch with more seating. Off grid cozy cabin on Diamond Lake. Great for all the camp activities! Enjoy swimming, fishing, stargazing and campfires. Open concept loft bedroom with double and queen beds, queen sized sleeper sofa on main floor. Bedding included. Ladder up to the loft. Option of boat access from Diamond Lake boat launch, 45 minute drive from Sault Ste. Marie to launch and 5 minute canoe. Or drive on the new road, backroads to the cabin. Canoe is provided for you for crossing and during your stay!

Come experience a relaxing getaway with family and friends! You can swim off the dock, great fishing, large yard for outdoor games and bonfires! You will have access to the entire camp, including all kitchen items, canoe, and both indoor and outdoor games. Three kayaks available with life jackets so you can tour the beautiful area. Like many other cottages, our water is lake fed so guests will need to bring bottled water. Fur babies welcome! Ensure they stay in the yard and watched.

Gorgeous sunsets and peaceful relaxing await you at Sunset Point on beautiful St. Joseph Island! You will go home refreshed from the beautiful views of the trees and water. Natural light filters through the tall maple trees at this 3 bed/2 bath house with its many large windows and sunroom. Located on the shipping channel you will often see freighters traveling both ways while you sit at the shore. Situated on a quiet, dead-end road with very little traffic but with neighbours nearby.

Kensington Cottage

A charming pine cottage right on Lake Huron. Located in an area of fascinating history and enjoyment on the water. Fabulous kayak destinations right outside the door. Have breakfast on the dock or at your private deck table with seating for six. Plenty of space at the dock to tie up your watercraft with boat launching right next door at Kensington Point Marina. The cottage water is fully filtered through an Ultra Violet light source which makes it 100% pure and drinkable out of the tap.

With 200+ ft of sandy beach waterfront , there are views of the Canadian shores across the bay,freighter ships passing by, abundant wildlife and sunsets over they bay all from a beautiful firepit at the waters edge. Into more play then, hiking,biking,boating,kayaking,fishing,swimming, SUP or just plain relaxing are right out the back door.

Bring life jackets for water play and worms for fishing. Many trails for ATVs out your back door.
