I was in search of a peaceful relaxing experience and this was it. The solarium dining area is such a good zone for breakfast, journaling, friend chats. Love the cool decor, coffee-tea service and the gift of farm fresh eggs. The hot tub was elevated in the forest in an amazing way, we loved the views. We spent a lot of time soaking, and would say this was definitely a highlight of our stay. If you are not sure-footed, this may not be the place for you to descend to the hot tub. Fortunately it was not a problem for us. We did not need extra temp control for the first week of May. Pleasant and comfortable. Garden areas are lovely and well landscaped. A very friendly neighborhood. Overall, a great experience.

This is such a wonderful place! The home and the area are both stunning. Probably the best vacation we’ve ever had. Definitely recommend!

This home was perfect for my wife and I! It was peaceful and cozy. The Jacuzzi was perfect for two. The outside deck had amazing views and was super relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the nature, Conservancy walk was the icing on top!

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

Had an amazing stay at Jack’s cabin! It was a great private little getaway with enough around to still feel convenient. Close to some beautiful natural areas and hikes. Had all of the necessary and advertised amenities, and the hot tub was a wonderful addition to the stay. Would absolutely stay here again, thanks Jack and also Dave!

Wow, what a beautiful spot! The pictures caught my eye but they really don’t do it justice. Felt like a private little paradise! Very cozy and relaxing. Each detail was well thought out which elevated the whole experience. Would love to stay again in the future.

Perfect spot for a long weekend stay! Comfortable with lots of natural light. A welcoming space for kids and dogs - especially appreciate the securely fenced yard. Looked exactly like the photos, and every amenity was as described.

Great location, nice spa and deck looking out to the river. Loved the "rustic" vibe. My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway, and this was perfect!

The cabin is very quiet with great views. The wood stove is more than sufficient to keep the place warm just be sure to bring some kindling and some paper. There was also a nice list of suggested spots and a record player. Overal a lovely stay.

Sue’s place was absolutely wonderful. From the peaceful and private location to the thoughtful and kind hosts, I’d highly recommend staying here. Sue was quick to respond to anything we needed and always did so with such warmth. When we arrived, there was a wagon waiting to help us carry our things from the parking spot to the cottage—a super helpful touch that made the short walk easy, even with suitcases, bags, and groceries. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful trees and set in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that’s perfect for walks any time of day. Inside, the Airbnb was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—from cookware to a great selection of spices. You can tell a lot of care went into making it feel like a true home away from home. We genuinely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Thank you, Sue and Jess, for such a memorable and amazing experience!

Initially I booked a stay for my mom and I for her birthday but unfortunately, I got bronchitis the week before. I communicated this to my hosts but that my mom was still coming and that it was her birthday. They were incredibly sweet asking if she liked sweets or wine, ultimately gifting her a beautiful plant since she has a lot of food allergies. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful with a lovely welcome message and offer for fresh-baked chocolate cookies to bring home to me. They had very clear and detailed instructions about what to expect with directions, cell phone signal and GPS and then local places to visit. My mom visited a goat farm on her way in to the area but otherwise kept a very low profile the rest of the weekend. She FaceTimed me one evening showing me around the space and it appeared well stocked, spacious and nicely decorated. I am really looking forward to returning here with my mom and dog next year.

We loved our stay at Victoria’s Novato cabin! We were in town for a wedding, and it was the perfect space for our group of 4 (though it could have easily/ comfortably fit and slept more). The home was quiet and peaceful, and beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked! We were all over Marin and Sonoma counties during our week-long stay, and nothing ever felt too far. Easy access to the 101, so easy access to get all over northern CA. Overall, this hike was a great space that fit all of our needs!

What a wonderful spot! Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and bathroom, lovely deck, easy river access and all the toys. I very much appreciated the EV charger!! Thora was helpful and responsive. Can’t wait to return!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully arranged, with a fantastic view that we never got tired of admiring. One of the highlights was the amazing library with so many great books to explore. The furniture was cozy and comfortable, and the beds were excellent. The walk-in shower is really nice. The kitchen was enormous and fully stocked with extras you don’t usually see in a rental—clearly set up by someone who cares about the details. We didn't spend as much time outside on the large deck due to the cooler weather, but we did appreciate the beauty of the apple tree which was in full bloom. The private parking had plenty of space, and the neighborhood was wonderfully quiet. I highly recommend. We booked another trip before we checked out.

Perfect place to stay for a Redwood / Russian River escape. Would stay again!

After staying here, we want to move here. We cannot but it is on our shortlist for the next time we move. We are going to come back with the rest of our family

Anidel was very responsive and friendly! The cottage had everything we needed, was comfortable and clean. The on site store and cafe were awesome!!

We very much enjoyed Aggie's Airbnb. It was serene, surrounded by beautiful trees and ferns. She gave us excellent instructions for getting there. There was a very short power outage, but Aggie had already taken care of this, showing us where lanterns and a battery. We love Occidental and the free feeling of life. This cabin is a few miles from downtown, but easy to find and so peaceful. It’s an old schoolhouse built in the 1800’s, so definitely bring layers in winter. The space heaters are super helpful, but winter weather is what it is! The place is clean, super comfortable, and well appointed. Brendan is friendly and very responsive if you need anything at all. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Such a gem.
