We found the house to comfortable and clean, the beds were great with good quality mattresses and linen. The lounge was very comfortable and a good size. It was good to have the drive way as the streets around had a lot of cars fighting for space. The house is in an estate that has some really run down properties/areas but the house itself is next to some nice friendly neighbours (Annie with the two Chihuahuas!) We found it to be quiet at night. The cons: quite far away from town, you could walk but it's about 30 mins. There are some niggly issues with squeaky hinges, dodgy door handles and a window that wouldn't shut properly in the bathroom, but these were irritations rather than deal breakers. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

What a stunning house in the most gorgeous area ... Mhairi's house is a complete fairytale and was perfect for myself and 11 other friends to stay for the weekend. The house was clean, stylish, and warm with a huge patio and fabulous living / dining space. We were all desperate to move in - a real dream house. It is also close to a loch and lovely swimming spots which are a short walk away from the house. We'll be recommending this place to everyone and would love to return! Thank you Mhairi for all your advice and helping us have such a wonderful weekend together :)

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

Cragowlet was a beautiful stay with big and beautiful rooms. Very specious and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom which is always a big plus. Brian as a host was wonderful! Helpful and ready to give guidence and advice for local activities if we needed it. Cragowlet was beautiful and we definitely want to go back if we're in the area again. Couldn't recommend more! 👌

Loved the location. Quiet little town, with very nice and hospitable general store and restaurant. Owners were quick to respond and extremely thoughtful

This was a great place to stay for a group of 6 friends on a hiking weekend. The house is well equipped, especially the kitchen. Bedrooms are nice, though one of the twin rooms has quite small beds. We managed ok but they could be a problem for tall people. The hot tub and pool room were great fun, it's a real bonus to have stuff like that where you stay. Both bathrooms are a good standard too. Parking in the area behind the house is a bit tricky, especially for larger cars. Once you're in, it's very secure though. Just make sure you open the gate all the way and you should be fine. Callander is a lovely location and a good base for Munro bagging. We'll definitely look to see if this place is available when we plan our next hiking trip.

Drovers lodge was superb. Close to lovely cafés and restaurants and beautiful countryside. The cottage itself was fantastic, spotlessly clean with lots of individual touches that added to our stay such as toiletries and a welcome basket. Linda was a great host, really responsive. Thanks for a great stay.

Lovely stay at Anita's riverside property. The house is extremely clean and has all the amenities you would ever need. The lounge is a fantastic spot for overlooking the beautiful garden and birdwatching on the river. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal prepared by Anita's daughter. Anita was very helpful and responsive, both before and during our stay. Would absolutely recommend a short or longer stay here.

Excellent location. A few minutes walk to shops, restraunts and the waterfront in Helensburgh. Quiet location with everything you need. Great spot to stay with an easy drive to visitor locations at Lock Lomond, Sterling and Falkirk. Glasgow Central easily reached by train.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in Callander. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. The fixtures and fittings were good quality. We would happily recommend no. 6 to other couples. Kate was friendly and kept us well informed - just what is need in a host. Callander is an interesting town with beautiful surroundings and many options for walks in the surrounding countryside - which is why we chose to stay there. We were fortunate with the weather (sunny and dry for the whole of our stay). This was one of the best places we have stayed in in recent years. Jean

A perfect place to stay situated between Glasgow and Edinburgh . A very confortable flat 10 minutes away from the town centre and shopping!

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

A lovely little flat, very clean and with everything we could have wanted. Frank was even kind enough to leave some milk and toiletries, and was a very responsive host. The shower was nice and hot and the beds very comfortable. The apartment is in a quiet part of town and it was only about a fiver for a taxi back from Stirling Station when we'd done too much walking, out on day trips to Edinburgh and Glasgow (Stirling is beautiful and we spent a day exploring there too) . It's also super close to a big Sainsbury. Our stay was fantastic and we would absolutely come back again.

Nice location, very clean. However, you need a car to visit something around.

A great place to stay in Callander. It is on the main road but isn't noisy, very handily right across from Tesco and 30 seconds round the back is access to the river (good for dog walking). We did drive past the parking spot at first but having a place to put the car is great. 8 minute drive to the bottom of Ben Ledi walk - which I would recommend. Very comfortable space big enough for 2 and a dog, had pans/knives/boards etc. Also had salt/pepper/oil which is helpful. Emma was responsive and kindly let us check out flexibly as noone else had booked in.

Diane was a wonderful, helpful host, and the apartment proved to be a useful base for our time in Stirling. Just below the castle and minutes from anything (including several decent takeaway locations and a large grocery store), made it easy for our group to tackle errands and get back to seeing the sights. The comfortable apartment gave us plenty of space, a fast Internet connection, and a great space to wind down in at the end of the day.

Lovely little flat in a beautiful location. I needed to catch up on a few days of work and this was the perfect place. Clean, wonderfully decorated and quiet. Communication was prompt and very helpful. Great little place!

The flat is far superior to the outside and communal areas. Extremely peaceful location, well supplied and thoughout flat with everything you could need. Ideal spot to explorer loch lommond and beyond with Stirling castle just an hour away, Glasgow not far at all either. Would live to come back when next staying in the area

Wir haben es sehr geliebt und hatten eine ganz ganz tolle Zeit! Jill und ihr Mann waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir fanden das Bett super und die ganze kleine Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und einladend + ein fantastische view auf Loch Long. Der Ort ist wunderschön und die Ruhe genau das wonach wir gesucht haben. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen 🩷
