Country Barn Conversion - Grounds of Old Corn Mill

Our Cottage is located in the picturesque Village of Harley, at the foot of the Wenlock Edge. The property is less than 5 minutes drive to Much Wenlock and close to Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Ludlow & Church Stretton -ideally placed for seeing the best bits of Shropshire. We are near to many great walks, National Trust/English Heritage locations and foodie highlights. We have lived in the County for 50+ years and are on hand to help and provide advice on where to visit & eat locally.

The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

Mulberry Cottage is situated on a working small holding, in the beautiful Shropshire countryside, with direct access to a network of footpaths. The cottage has a private entrance, with views overlooking the fields and surrounding farmland, and fully enclosed garden. Watch and listen to the wildlife - and enjoy the company of sheep, alpacas, chickens and horses. Take a walk and enjoy the tranquil countryside. In the winter, cosy up next to the toasty log burner, or enjoy the dark starry skies.

Its rural setting makes it a fab option for walkers, nature lovers and those looking for peace and quiet with scenic views, easy access to Shrewsbury (20 mins’ drive) and nearby pretty villages including Much Wenlock. Accommodation comprises a kitchen (w. slimline dishwasher), open plan sitting/dining area with log burner, bedroom (King Size bed), shower room and downstairs loo. Sofa bed on request (small double).

The room has it's own private entrance and is separate to the owners house. A continental breakfast of cereal and pastries will be served to your room each morning at a time to suit you between 08.00 - 10.00. Small barn in the midst of a working Dairy and sheep farm right next to our home with fabulous walks all around. Double bed with small shower room and mini kitchen area in the corner of the room. Ideal as walking base or base when working in the area. Good parking just outside the barn - vehicles can be left whilst you walk the glorious hills around. Cooked breakfast available in the dining room in the farmhouse for £10 per person - includes the choice of sausage, bacon, eggs etc.

A lovely, comfortable modern apartment within Lower Farm House set in a tranquil rural location just 5 miles from Shrewsbury, and yet only a short distance from Church Stretton, Ironbridge and Much Wenlock, all of which are only approximately 20 minutes away. The apartment is fully equipped so is a true home from home with a little extra. An ideal location of visiting family at Concord College. Please note we do not accept third party bookings.
