Private entry, space into basement unit and private bathroom. Near fabulous restaurants/ bars. About 15-min. walk to Metro green line. Note: While suite is private and closed to main home, home has 2 cats—a consideration for those with allergies. Also, it’s an old, connected home with original floors, and thus not soundproof.

Takoma Park Apartment Retreat

This apartment is located in the historic section of Takoma Park and it is a 7-minute walk from the Takoma Metro Station, 10-minute walk to downtown Takoma Park. Metro ride to downtown DC is 25 minutes or less depending on destination. You will enjoy this fully furnished apartment because of the well-lit living area with garden views, fireplace, screened patio, comfy bed, and peaceful environment. Please note that we only accept reservations that are over a month long.

My private, brightly lit basement suite boasts a unique location - a short walk from the Takoma Metro station; a quick ride (by bike, Metro, car, bus, Uber or Lyft) to downtown DC or burgeoning Silver Spring. My place features a separate entrance, free parking (one vehicle only), and is just steps away from many restaurants/cafes/eateries and local shops. The space is good for couples, travelers of all kinds, and, with space for four people to sleep, families.
