This is the nearest, nicest pub. Two blocks from BCentral it's pretty buzzy on a Friday night. They have a delicious bar menu which runs all day (I think) and also do really nice meals. Big meals and not the cheapest place in town, but the quality is generally very good. It's directly opposite Machattie Park, so there's a nice outlook.

Recently renovated and the closest pub to Quaint on Keppel. One of the more sophisticated pubs in town with great bar food.

The George Hotel looks across to The Machattie Park and has a lovely lunch and dinner menu 7 days a week, we would suggest The George Burger and a glass of house sav blanc, or a pale ale on tap. Live music can be enjoyed most weekend evenings.
