Breathtaking view, immaculately clean, well furnished and comfortably arranged. This was a perfect place to land, to enjoy the seaside, and feel at home. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

We arranged to have a few days in Oban before catching the ferry to Castlebay to start our outer hebredise island hopping, the place was great, Even Jacob's ladder twice a day, would recommend the spacious accommodation, top notch and the views of the bay👍

Lynne's place is super clean and comfortable and we spent a great evening there. The beds are large and comfortable, the place is very clean and quiet and in a nice neighborhood not too far from the center of town. It had everything we needed (including a washer and dryer!) Lynne is also a great host and was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Roderick's place is in a convenient, easy to find location - a short walk to the scenic harbour, restaurants, grocery stores and shops. During our stay (mid-week and low season) we were able to find on street parking directly in front of the apartment. The apartment was clean, well-lit, and quiet and had all the amenities we needed. Our host was responsive and provided clear instructions regarding location, check in and check out. Definitely recommend Roderick's place to others.

This was an excellent spot for our week in Oban. The apartment is close to just about everything, walking distance to great restaurants, shops, recreation, etc. The place is quite comfortable for two couples to share and still have their own private spaces. Quick note that if you need a high-speed internet connection to get work done or other needs, the provided wifi is pretty slow and just allows for the basics like checking email – but the hosts are quite clear about this and don’t promise high speed.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Fiona’s place in Morar. We had 5 (two adults and 3 kids) and we loved it! Kids loved playing the board games and watching DVD’s during quieter times, we went on a lot of nice walks, explored beaches, and used Morar as a base camp for exploring Skye and Glen Coe. We’d love to come back again!

The place was absolutely lovely. the fireplace was amazing after a long day of hiking and it was a great location for so many activities!

La promesse de la vue était fabuleuse et nous avons pas été déçus. Si vous recherchez un endroit paisible et isolé, c’est l’endroit parfait. Il n’est pas parfaitement placé si vous cherchez les endroits touristiques à visiter mais le lieu se suffit à lui même pour quelques nuits et il est parfait pour se reposer et profiter du calme. Les chambres et pièces de vie sont très belles et bien décorées. Merci de mettre une belle maison comme ça à disposition.

Absolutely amazing property. Beautifully decorated and very homely. The house was so well equipped with everything you could need. Situated in a perfect setting, very short walk to restaurants and pubs. Also lots of lovely walks very nearby. The host was very helpful and made us feel very welcome.

This is one of our favorite places we've stayed and were sad to have only spent one night here. You can tell that Annie put a lot of thought and care into the space. Everything was super clean and comfortable. And having the washer and dryer was an amazing plus. Couldn't recommend a stay at The Wee Bit on the Side more!

This place is amazing, so peaceful and tranquil! The sauna is much better than expected and can get hot enough (90+) to satisfy sauna lovers! We cannot recommend enough as a base for exploring the local area!

This was a great base to explore Oban and the local area. The apartment is cosy and has great facilities.

Jeanette was extremely welcoming. She communicated with me as I was getting near to the property and throughout the stay with some excellent suggestions. We followed her advice for New Year's Eve and it was one of the best nights we've had! The property is lovely and feels private. We couldn't have asked for a better stay or a better host. We hope to be back.

An absolutely great apartment to stay in. Very spacious, well furnished, great bathroom. Good mattresses. Very well located in main street but also private. Great views from the sitting room looking across the bay, watching the ferries & other boats coming & going. The sunsets were something else.

We had a fantastic week staying in Downey Birch cottage. It is an extremely cosy, comfortable, peaceful, and well equipped property; with stunning views of Arisaig and The Small Isles from almost every window! Its location is perfect being just a few minutes walk away from the Arisaig Hotel, marina, local shops, museum and other delicious eateries. As well as a short cycle or drive to the wonderful beaches, mountains and islands in this spectacular part of Scotland. Michael and Fiona are super hosts. Friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. We would most definitely recommend this cottage to friends and family; and we would love to stay again soon.

This was a fairly short notice booking for a long weekend in Oban. The one bedroom flat suited our needs as it was a couple of minute's walk from the town centre. The flat is in a quiet building and, although central, there was no noise from outside. It's clean and tidy and matches the description. Handy having a tumble drier. Plenty hot water, warm and comfy, and a good shower too. Ticked all the boxes for us. Would have no hesitation in returning. Alison's communication is great along with clear and simple instructions. A relaxing visit!

Very interesting accommodation. The front hall of the big house is a bit bleak. However, the apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. Wonderful views over Loch Fyne and closer the birds in the surrounding trees. Very good seafood at the Starfish in Tarbert and at Skipness seafood cabin just down the coast. We enjoyed exploring the area - the beavers at Knapdale and we cycled back and forth along the length of the Crinan Canal. We had no issues with the peaty local water supply - it is what it is and Wendy flags it up before you stay. It is easy to use bottled water. We would certainly book again- thank you for a great stay.

A great spot near the Kames hotel and very close to the village store. The sofa bed was quality and our kids slept sound on it. Great view out to the loch also and it had my favourite kind of coffee maker, with plenty of coffee pods. Liam was very responsive with any questions I had. I’ll be back.
