We had a wonderful night! The house was charming, the bed was super comfortable (best nights sleep I’ve had away from home in a very long time!), and the jacuzzi was relaxing! We especially loved all the fireplaces and are looking forward to coming back at a nicer time of year to make better use of the outdoor space!

We loved this airbnb and stayed for 3 weeks. It sits right on the edge of the marsh with an extraordinary view. We greatly enjoyed how a short walk away is Chaffinch Island, which is a gorgeous park full of tides pools and hackberry trees. The space was clean and comfortable and Mary was a fantastic host. You can see a lighthouse on an island 3 miles out sea from all the rooms, even the main bed.

Just as listed...small cottage by the water and the view was stunning! I liked relaxing in the swim spa or by the calming lights and sounds of the fake electric fire-- definite cozy vibes! The kitchen is clean and well stocked with utensils etc. Feyza was great about checking in. Thanks!

Our family of five loved staying at Yoka and Val's place. The location is very quiet with a peaceful pond across the street. The house itself is very clean and comfortable with everything you need - towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, coffee and spices - easily available. The beds were also very comfortable. The best part, of course, was the private hot tub in the back yard. It was set in a canopy for extra privacy and wind protection. We loved it. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This house is gorgeous right on the lake in the winter was so beautiful. The home was clean and had everything you needed. Absolutely loved Catherine’s guidebook so well written and amazing communication. I would recommend this stay for anyone who loves a staycation!! Thank you for an amazing weekend! 💕

This is the second time we stayed here and it was even better than the first! They have really taken the time to make the place as welcoming and easy to navigate as possible.

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn was beautiful and exactly what we needed for the weekend. Breakfast was included and wonderful. This place is a gem and we will be back for sure.

What a restful beautiful setting. Beautiful views. We really enjoyed watching the hens roam the yard. A super clean space, roomy and comfortable. Some cute towns nearby like Millerton, Hillsdale, Copake, New Preston, Millbrook. Kent Falls close too.

We were looking for a last minute peaceful four day getaway and we found it here. We can’t stop talking about it. Although relatively close to everything we felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. The only sounds were the chirping of song birds and a woodpecker in the morning. Local restaurants are great and for us a trip to Yale University’s free museums and nearby antique shops rounded things out. The house is charming and Rio, our host , made sure we had everything. The few things we forgot from home were there! Wonderful experience all around.

This was my fifth stay in Jeanne's wonderful cottage! The cottage gets better and better each time I visit: a newly renovated bathroom, redecoration in lighter/brighter colors, etc. The home is extremely well stocked - every kitchen item you might need (including loads of glasses/plates/silverware, pots/pans, etc.), thick towels, extra blankets and throws, and lots of cleaning and paper products. There are plenty of cozy places to sit and relax, both indoors and out. The best thing of all is Jeanne herself, who is without a doubt the most generous host I've encountered on AirBnB. She is friendly, communicates proactively, and is quick to respond to any issues/questions. She truly opens her home to her guests, encouraging visitors to use the space fully and to make themselves at home. The cottage is an easy walk to the beach ane/or to town and is lovely, homey, and peaceful. I'll definitely return!

This is a lovely historic building in peaceful surroundings. It's spacious and clean inside, with comfortable beds and couches. If you have problems with steep stairs it might be tricky, but there are two handrails to help. The only bathroom is downstairs - something to keep in mind if you need to get up at night. The host was very responsive about some minor repair issues we reported. I'd be happy to stay there again!

My daughter and I loved our stay so much. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful. I loved listening to all the bird song and my daughter loved the fish! Such a cozy, comfortable home. We loved our relaxing time here. Gabriele is a fabulous host, so responsive and so kind. Thank you!!

My husband and I had a great stay. James and Rose are super helpful hosts. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Walking distance to a lovely park they recommended with tons of hiking trails and very quiet.

We had nice weekend at the cozy cottage. We loved that it was pet friendly and a short walk to the beach. Cameron was very friendly and responsive. She offered great suggestions for food and activities.

Frederick and Kelly have a great little rustic cabin right on the lake. Peaceful, quiet (a tiny bit of road noise occasionally, but overall very quiet). Frederick is super helpful and friendly. Cabin was built around 75 years ago (original builder's son left a note in the log book!), so don't expect anything ultramodern.. just a nice unassuming rustic family cabin.

This cute cottage’s was exactly what we were looking for. Our stay was short but Meredith gave us great suggestions for places to eat to help us avoid wasting our minimal time searching. On a fall weekend the neighborhood was quiet. It was a really nice weekend stay for us.

My husband and I stayed at the cottage for 3 months and enjoyed our time very much. We were very happy from every perspective: The cottage had all the equipment we needed and wished for. We sometimes used the fireplace and loved the bed/couch. The cottage is perfect to rest and focus. We enjoyed to have so much nature around us. We took a walk in the close park with a lake almost every day. We liked to live at a small farm with dogs, chicken and goose. Debbie and Kirk were always there when we needed them and also made us internationals feel welcome. They explained and helped us proactively e.g. changed regional weather circumstances. We also regularly got eggs from the chicken what was always a nice surprise. Communication/ interactions were always easy and friendly. I recommended my work to plan future stays for assignments in this Airbnb. In our opinion it is better than a hotel: Very comfortable, cozy, close to nature and a special American experience. Brenda place was beautiful with a beautiful view especially when we work up to some light snow on the lake. The layout of the house was ideal for us with the big open living room and great updated kitchen. So many comfortable beds for us to use. Our favorite places were the sun room and dining rooms looking out at the lake, Brenda was was kind and helpful and adding a Christmas tree for us was a beautiful touch . Highly recommend, one of our best for sure, thank you

If you are looking for simplicity (which we were) this is the perfect place to. I’ve always wanted to stay at a lake house. We couldn’t have asked for more. Serene, tranquil, beautiful are the proper descriptions of the house and the area. We came to Connecticut to visit my daughter and family and they ended up coming to our place instead. Jason was extremely helpful when needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Suzy's cottage was impeccably clean and beautiful! Perfect for a cozy weekend in the Berkshires, and not far from Great Barrington and other towns. We ended up being there over a snowstorm, and Suzy proactively reached out to let us know people would come and plow the driveway, so we didn't need to worry about it. And she offered us late check out! Would definitely stay here again.

we love Walkers place and do come here twice a year. it's a beautiful home, it's so zen, so pretty, so clean, we just absolutely love it. it's a great fabulous house and spot to stay. ♥️
