Great place. Great location by private river access

This is a perfect location only 10 minutes driving distance from Weaverville. The creek is lovely, just deep enough for the kids to get wet without worrying about them getting carried by any currents. It was fun watching the birds from the big living room windows. The kitchen was nice and open, it never felt crowded while cooking and it was well stocked with supplies. The host was so kind and responsive! She helped make the check-in and check-out seamless. This was a perfect escape. We will definitely be coming back to this spot for any future stays in the area.

It was a good place for our dogs and the place was comfortable.

Excellent and spacious home! Kelly is friendly and very helpful. She even assisted with us when we needed the AC on for a hot day! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area.

This place is awesome for those that want serene quiet surrounded by nature. Note, you are staying in a very remote place and small town. The cabin has tons of character and you can’t beat the sound or views of the Trinity River. The kids loved playing in the river bank.

It was a wonderful stay at the Strawhouse Resorts. I appreciate the sweet welcome, prompt response, the immediate action to requests, and their flexibility. Amazing customer service. 10 out 10!! What a wonderful little cabin decorated in such a classy Northern California vintage style! We felt so welcome and the cabin was warm and comfy. We had a great stay and Caitlin was such a great host. Hope we can visit and stay again.

We had the best weekend ever at this place! The pool and river were incredible and the house was very comfortable. Tessa was so flexible with us when we needed to reschedule due to wildfire smoke. We will definitely be back again 😊.

My family and I loved the green cabin, even in the rain! We visited, played board games and watched movies provided. The layout of property is perfect. Lots of comfy beds, generous seating on couch and table. We are already planning our next stay!

This was a perfect place to stay for a week with our mix of three small families. We used every dish in the kitchen and had everything we needed all week long. There were loads of deer to watch and so much beautiful scenery. And any time we had questions, we got super prompt responses. Will stay again!

The house is comfy and cozy and was well stocked, even for our big family of 8 and kitty and our long stay. The beds were super comfy and the yard was great with pool, lots of pool toys, and plenty of seating. Beautiful views of the mountain and nature everywhere. Great house, great hosts, we had a wonderful stay! :)

What a find! We wanted a peaceful, restful week and we got just that at the ranch. The cabins are comfortable, rustic and with a simplicity of the woods that made it magical! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, the beds and nooks were comfortable and we were a drive or walk away from amazing natura retreats (swimming, fishing, hiking). We will definitely come back.

The cabin was as advertised, private, clean and well maintained. Meghan was there when I arrived and was super friendly and very helpful. The area is very quiet and peaceful and steps to the Trinity River. I would recommend the cabin to family and friends. Thanks, Meghan!

Drew's cabin is very relaxing and peaceful, perfect for a getaway out of the city. I really enjoyed staring up at the stars one of the nights! It's definitely a bit out there, but in the best way.

We had a wonderful stay at Meghan’s cabin. It’s in a beautiful area too. Meghan was extremely welcoming and went above and beyond when we had car troubles. We cannot thank her enough for a great stay and for all her help!

WE NEVER WANT TO LEAVE! We can not begin to express how happy and at home were at sandy bar. Cabins are perfectly equipped and incredibly CLEAN! They have everything you need! If you should happen need anything they have tons of extra supplies to utilize. Everyone we came in contact with on the farm was so genuine and kind, we felt incredibly welcome and at home. We had a family conversation last night that we have never experienced this feeling of not wanting to leave at the end of a vacation, We will be back!!!! Thank you to all!
