The cottage was built in 1946, lovingly restored in 2021 and in the spring of 2026, a brand new two-bath remodel showcasing genuine Delft Blue tiles/tile paintings. Tall windows dominate all of the rooms, letting in light that is filtered through the shade of two 80-year-old live oak trees in the front and the pecan tree in the back. We love clean. These are wonderfully convenient accomodations during Azalea Trails, Rose Festival, Canton First Monday and other East Texas favorites. By appointment, you can take a stroll through my Holly Cottage Gardens, an English garden registered in the Archives of American Gardens at the Smithsonian Institution.
