With a secluded lake out the back door and two fire pits for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs, there are plenty of outdoor activities without even leaving the property. Of course, there is always more to explore in the area as well; including the Black River, which is just a short hike away.

The Ranch House cabin (2020)at Old Desperado Ranch has a rustic western cowboy theme. The stone fireplace (electric) was hand made with local rocks from the creeks and rivers. The two bedroom cabin is very spacious and is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. Just bring your food! The cabin is dog friendly, see pet policy. We offer a very cozy cabin with full kitchen, washer/dryer, screened in porch, stone fire place in private country setting. We are 3 miles down a gravel road which gives us lots of privacy and very little traffic. There is very little cell service but we have WiFi. We are located just 10 miles outside of Eminence, and the cabin sets atop a valley over looking our pastures.

Keener Spring is one of the largest privately owned springs in the country emitting 14 million gallons per day. The spring and the unique, water filled Keener Cave are the focal points of the 65 acre property. Our cabin sleeps six people with a queen size bed, one set of bunk beds, full size blow-up mattress, and a loveseat. We are about a mile and a half from Whitten Access.
