Outside the front door the beach is just 70 metres away with a green area outside the apartments and the harbour to the other side.

The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

NOTE: We allow dogs strictly by request only. The Ark is situated in a beautiful location with panoramic uninterrupted close views of the sea and less than a minutes walk of Eype beach. The property is ideal for walks along the South West Coastal Path in this designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Ark is a contemporary 2 bedroom cedar clad chalet set in a large open green space amongst other individually privately owned quirky beachside properties.

The annexe is just a short 15 minute walk to West Bay harbour and beaches, here you can also pick up the south west coastal paths. Walking distance to West Bay Harbour and into Bridport Market town. Great coastal walks and cycle trails all along the south west coastal path. Bridport Golf club is 1/2 mile away, we also have some highly rated local restaurants, bars and pubs Guests are welcome to use the gardens and our sea view decking.

The Cornish studio

The Cornish Studio is the perfect retreat for beach living with far stretching sea views from every window and located right on the beach in West Bay in the heart of the Jurassic Coast. You can walk the cliff path for breakfast at the Hive cafe on Burton Bradstock or to the Anchor at Seatown for drinks and dinner on the cliff. Explore the coastline jump in the double kayak then back to sample the menus at Rise or The Watch House just outside your door.
