Spacious Retreat in Calhoun/West Monroe

Come stay in our one of a kind home in Calhoun- very close to I-20. We are 10 minutes from the West Monroe Sports and Event Center and 12 minutes from both Landry & Thirsty Farmer Vineyards along with several wedding venues. There are two large living areas one with a tv and another with a sitting area and a tournament size pool table. The kitchen is fully stocked. There is an 8 seat dining table inside and another on the back patio. There are 4 bedrooms downstairs and 2 upstairs.

Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

You can unwind on the backporch, fish in the pond, watch for wildlife and take time to yourself. Wifi is excellent if you need to work remotely and cabin is spacious and open for families to enjoy their time together.
