What a great, character-filled stay in Melrose. We were going to camp but it was looking a bit hot for early November so we found this place. The kids couldn't believe their luck! comfy beds, very clean, the aircon in the upstairs loft sleeping area came in handy in the late afternoons. Right near a cute park where we cooked a bbq for dinner. Very basic kitchenette as advertised. Wonderful creaky old barn. We will definitely be back. thanks Alan.

We loved our stay at Angela’s cottage in the picturesque surroundings of Melrose. The charming home had all the amenities and comforts we required and was tidy and clean. We loved the unexpected addition of the outdoor sauna. Fantastic location!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Kaitlyn’s place would have to be the most convenient spot in town! Right next door to the bike shop/cafe and an easy walk to all that Melrose has to offer. The house is cosy and clean and has everything you need. We especially loved sitting on the back deck with a drink and a good book!

I had a wonderful stay at Vicky’s place! The location was peaceful and private, providing a perfect retreat. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, and Vicky was a helpful and welcoming host. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

pretty spectacular with stunning sunrises ! only problem was too little time there ..as would have liked some time to drop a crab pot in!

Yates/Pug Cottage is a quirky delightful surprise. We loved the history of the building, and marvelled at the construction. Alison and Chris have done a really nice job of renovating, furnishing and equipping it to modern standards whilst retaining the historical original look and feel. The outside covered enclosed patio is lovely and the garden/yard is well tended and neat. It was a scorching day when we were there, and we were able to stay nice and cool in the house, with an a/c I the living area and another in the bedroom. Thanks Alison and Chris, we had an excellent stay and highly recommend the cottage.

Jess’s tiny home is a little slice of minimalist magic. Every detail is thoughtful and functional, yet the whole space feels effortlessly stylish, exactly what a tiny home should be. The setting is pure serenity: eucalyptus trees, valley biew, and you can watch sheep grazing in the distance. Evenings are best spent soaking in the outdoor tub, then moving to the fire pit with a glass of red as the stars switch on. Bonus delights: a calico cat who likes to supervise, super-comfy bedding, and clever storage that makes the home feel bigger than it is. We loved the peace, simplicity, and the country charm. Me and my partner left feeling lighter, calmer, and already planning our return :)
