We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Enjoy a stay at our lovely modern and quirky terrace house in the Welsh Valleys. The house is in a central location for outdoor adventure lovers with plenty of hiking spots and mountain bike trails a short distance away. History buffs will find numerous interesting sites to visit nearby. If you are looking for some where peaceful to work there is a dedicated office space and wifi. The train station is a 4 minute drive up the road for an easy commute into Newport or Cardiff. Amenities nearby.

Our cottage is a lounge/Kitchen that is light & airy with French doors leading to the patio, I supply milk, Tea, coffee, sugar, cereal, cake, biscuits, We have a washing machine & Tumble dryer in the kitchen, These are NOT for use of one Night Stays, Only for guests staying 4 days or longer. Upstairs, double bedroom, TV, Hairdryer, wardrobe, hangers, bedside cabinets lamps, Iron & ironing Board. Falls Cottage, a beautiful three bed miners cottage that used to be two separate miners cottages originally built in the 1860s. Now known as “Falls Cottage” since around 1939. It’s set on the bank of the River Taff in mature gardens with close access to the Taff Trail linking Brecon to Cardiff Bay and within walking distance to the train station. This is the perfect cottage to stay if wanting to visit bike park Wales, Zip World and to explore South Wales with its excellent A470 location.

The property is around 30 minutes away from Cardiff and 30 minutes away from the Brecon Beacons National Park. There is also a train station nearby.
