The Cider House at Stathe Farm

The Cider House is a newly renovated barn conversion and enjoys breathtaking views over the river Parrett, across the Somerset levels and on to Aller, a historic parish originally listed in the Domesday book. As the name suggests, The Cider House once stored cider made from apples grown in the farm orchard. With easy access to local villages, country pubs and miles of quiet country lanes and beautiful river walks, Stathe is a haven of peace and tranquility, just perfect for that special getaway.

Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. River views at ‘The Nest’

‘The Nest’ is a beautiful one bedroom self-contained annexe attached to our home on the levels in rural Somerset. It was recently decorated in February 2023. The garden room boasts a brand new log burner and has stunning views over the picturesque garden. As well as this there is a cosy snug room with sofabed and SMART tv to enjoy quiet nights in. The bedroom has dual aspect views, with one side looking out to the River Tone and the other on rolling fields where deer often make an appearance.

Being close to the national cycle routes 33 and 339 it is popular with cyclists, walkers, and bird watchers alike.

The rural location and stunning views across the Somerset Levels makes the annexe to our home perfect for our guests to enjoy. The use of the spacious garden including swimming pool, in the summer months and hot tub all year round makes it a perfect location to relax. Outdoor dining with full kitchen, summer house, extensive garden gazebos and entertaining areas. The garden has a pond, vegetable area, orchard, children’s play area and outdoor cinema available for our guests to enjoy.

A newly converted outbuilding in a rural village on the Somerset Levels. Allocated parking with private entrance, enclosed front patio which enjoys the morning sun, great for alfresco breakfast. To the rear of the property is a good sized gravelled area with seating which enjoys the afternoon sun. The cottage is a short walk to the local pub rated “Certificate of Excellence” on Tripadvisor for the last 4 years. Countryside walks from the doorstep and places to explore are plentiful.

The Dairy is a lovingly converted barn set in a gorgeous courtyard setting. We have kept the original beams and furnished with antiques sourced at local auction houses. It is a roomy conversion and can also be rented as a 4 bed. The very comfortable king size bed has an ensuite shower, with power and rainfall shower. There is plenty of outside space and a gas BBQ for your use. There are also bicycles and an all weather tennis courts guest can use, please ask.

Enjoy the peaceful setting of this romantic spot in nature. Located in a private garden on our family farm on the Somerset levels. The carriage has been hand built and reclaimed from an old Devon railway carriage into a luxury self contained space - perfect for romantic breaks in nature. Wi-Fi, cedar clad electric Hot tub, log fire & star gazing. We also have our own little shop selling soft and alcoholic drinks, home made candles, sloe gin and playing cards
