The chefs shed blew us away! It’s so charming, and very thoughtfully designed. A cooking lovers dream kitchen, a romantic sunset bath, friendly cows to greet you and a cosy fireplace to sit with a wine and listen to a record. So much to love and wonder here - a real gem! Anneke was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Their house is just behind the Chefs Shed, but it still feels private here. Highly recommend!

Beautiful house that feels like a real home, with a well-equipped kitchen and great amenities. Felt like an absolute oasis, couldn't recommend this place enough.

Wonderful Airbnb and host. Gorgeous views over the little dam with lots of wildlife to enjoy watching from the deck with your morning cuppa. The place is so quiet and comfortable with many small and unexpected luxuries and little extras. You will have absolutely everything you need, including ample firewood and even toasting forks for the provided marshmallows! We loved the breakfast hamper which was incredibly generous and delicious. Genevieve was a very proactive host who clearly cares deeply about the quality of her property and guest’s experience there. She made sure we had the right directions to find her place safely. Check in was a breeze and a lovely guest book answered all our questions and more. We even had a late check out which was such a relaxing way to finish the weekend. I would recommend hilltop to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away- great stay and thanks again!

We've stayed here before and thought it was impossible to improve on this space - how wrong were we?! Sandy and Rob have refined and improved this beautiful space creating greater comfort and sense of indulgence. From the generous breakfast supplies (enough for lunch!) and welcome champagne, to the luxurious steam room and garden hot tub, along with the perfect indoor-outdoor theatre room space to binge, read or play a board game, this is a space you can easily hide away in with no need to leave. That said, we do recommend the short stroll to the Cafe, bakery and pubs - the food is FABULOUS! You could travel somewhere else, but when you find a space like this, that ticks ALL the boxes, there's no need! Planning our next trip already...

We had a wonderful weekend at Monterey. There’s definitely something special about being surrounded by trees.

Rose was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely rustic train carriage. Cosy and homely old world carriage with lovely garden surroundings. Mother chicken had her little baby chicks nearby. Very peaceful and relaxing break.

A lovely cottage stay with beautiful surrounds. The place was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed, and then some. Vicki was a great host providing plenty of information. Feeding the alpacas was a highlight!

the property was stunning, the home clean and quiet. a lovely, comfortable, home-away-from-home space. I loved talking to the horse every morning as I had a coffee on the porch

Thank You Karen for hosting such a wonderful experience at Blackwood for me. Karen is such a thoughtful and friendly person to meet. The Garden of St Erth is near by and local people are friendly and helpful too. Love the fire 🔥 place as well. Hotel food was great as well but book ahead if you want to have dinner. Karen's thoughtful gesture of providing bread, honey and an avocado 🥑 for my breakfast the next day was heartfelt. Thank you so much Karen, I'm also enjoying showing off my scarfs that I bought from the hat place.
