The unit has vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors, a complete kitchen with dishwasher. In winter the wood fire place keeps the place cosy. In summer the balcony is a favorite place for breakfast, watching numerous native birds. Within a few minutes drive you will reach the center of Geelong, Deakin Uni, and the 3 major hospitals of Geelong. It's an easy drive to beautiful beaches, including the Great Ocean Road. To keep the building sustainable, there is solar hot water & power & rain tanks.

"Leafy Retreat" is a spectacular, wood and lead light Art Deco/Nouveau/Arts Crafts inspired private bungalow. Surrounded by intriguing gardens and private spaces, whimsical footpaths and fantastical creative elements. Hand built and adorned by the hosts who have collected unique items for 20 years to place in this unique dwelling. Come, enjoy a long soak in our stone bath! NOTE: Leafy Retreat is very private and is located at the rear of the hosts house in a very quiet suburban street.

The river end of Belmont (An entire 2Bedroom Unit)

Modest self-contained unit underneath a family home. This is an entire unit with 5 single beds - not as economical if you have only 2 guests. 200m From lovely river walks. 10min from cafes and shops. 10min drive to Geelong centre. All occupants are considered paying guests. This unit is not suitable for children 2 years and under. Please request a waterproof underlay for those who might need them. Very spacious, self-contained studio handy to Deakin and Epworth. Suitable for couples or singles. Safe, offstreet parking directly in front of studio. A few minutes drive to Highton Village. Close to the Barwon river if you enjoy a morning run or sunset stroll. A few minutes to the ring road for easy access to surfcoast or Melbourne and a short drive to the many attractions around Geelong. Unfortunately not suitable for children or animals.
