Fantastic place, really comfy beds! Also perfect location only needed to use the car once.

Place was exactly as advertised. Easy access and host communication great. Right on a bus stop or walkable to town centre. All in all great stay

The owner was friendly and welcoming. She made sure to send me all the information I needed for my stay beforehand, and responded to messages quickly. The apartment was clean and there was even some food provided for me. Overall I felt very welcome (:

Great stay at Simon’s penthouse for a long birthday weekend. A large space with everything you could need. The terrace and hot tub were incredible and a sun trap from morning to evening with great views. A stones throw from Southwell high street and the minster. Simon was very helpful moving the booking forward a week at the last minute and was quick to respond to any requests during the stay. There are a few things that need fixing or updating but all in all a top notch apartment in a great location, and nothing that detracted from the enjoyment of a great weekend with family.

Absolute fantastic! From start to finish Ciara was very helpful and communicable! Responded within minutes when we arrived and had a few questions. Couldn’t fault our stay really at all. Still plenty of light even though it’s in a basement. Underfloor heating worked well just boosted it as per instruction when we arrived. 100% will stay again when we visit!

We had a lovely stay over new year, cosy fireplace and friendly pubs within walking distance.

Perfect apartment, great location, walking distance to a variety of pubs, restaurants and supermarket! Jo and John were amazing with responding to queries and left a lot of great recommendations of where to eat and what to do. Not only was the apartment great location but it was very clean, had everything you needed to have a night in (fully equipped kitchen) and a cozy living room to relax after a long day hiking. Thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home, I will highly recommend this to anyone visiting Bakewell :)

The property met our requirements which was within walking distance to my daughter's. A very comfortable property with the space that we needed. Alison was a great host and would certainly stay here again.

A beautiful home with off-road parking. Had the air of a hotel spa as soon as walked in. Was ideal for our family overnight stay.

Stayed here with 2 friends and our children. Paulina was really thoughtful in providing toddler plates & cutlery, and a basket of toys which went down well. There was also milk in the fridge. The lounge was a relaxing space, and the beds very comfortable.

What a wonderful stay we had, from booking to arrival, departure and aftercare the hosts were amazing. The house was lovely, clean, spacious and a fab location for us and great local food establishments nearby. Nothing was too much trouble. We travelled a long way and were delayed a few times but the hosts were flexible and patient on waiting for us. I also left a couple of items in the house and they very kindly posted them back to me. I can't recommend this place and the hosts enough. I will definitely book with them again. Thank you!!

Home from home. Ideal base for the Midlands. Extremely comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful private garden. We highly recommend staying there.

A home away from home! Carole is a friendly and accommodating host and the house is absolutely gorgeous. Spotlessly clean, all amenities needed for a short or long stay, incredibly comfortable and a super location. We stayed for two weeks and have already booked for next year. Would highly recommend!

Dan was a great host and responded very quickly, even late at night if we had any queries (2am I couldn't get key out door to lock it but turned out it needed to be horizontal so was my mistake lol but Dan replied immediately). Dan made sure the heating was on before we arrived as have 3 young children and was a long 10 hour journey. The house was just what we needed, a base to stay with amenities whilst we visited family. So much better than just a hotel room or premier inn. Our own space to chill. Bonus was the washer/dryer so we didn't need to bring back dirty washing. Beds were comfortable.

we had a lovely stay at The Den! Immaculate home, full of everything you could possibly need (especially the kitchen), the beds were very comfortable, the terrace area was perfect for a peaceful breakfast in the sunshine. We particularly enjoyed the visits from Adie's cats and dogs they were super friendly and gentle. Thre fridge was nicely stocked with essentials which was a lovely and handy surprised. Adie was very friendly and particularly accommodating for us when we had a personal situation, which took a huge weight off our shoulders - so thank you! Would absolutely recommend this stay!

A great apartment within walking minutes to the city centre. Clean and tidy, a comfy, linen fresh bed, full kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, washing up accessories if needed. Kieran was a great host, great speedy communication, very clear arrival instructions. A friendly gated apartment area, would recommend. Thank you Kieran.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

we loved everything about our stay. the flat was lovely. there were lots of places to visit- National Trust, English Heritage, Southwell Minster, Kingsmill reservoir and Morrisons just 5 mins walk away. - they do a lovely breakfast! We've booked to come.e back for a week after Christmas!

We had 4 adults and 3 children under 5 years stay for two nights. The kids loved it with plenty if space for them to run around and for the adults to socialise. The running joke of the weekend was trying to find something to complain about because we couldn't. Everything in the apartment is of premium quality. From the beds and quilts to the bowls and mugs. You can tell the owners care for the apartment and the experience of the guest. Apartment was spotless when we arrived. The views and locations is fantastic. The sound of running water very calming. I will be back for sure.

We had a lovely stay with friends, in a great location & it was a beautiful apartment. We enjoyed the accessible walks with nice pub stops along the way. The kitchen was well equipped with lots of crockery, nice glasses & pots & pans. The only disappointment was that the essentials were a little sparse with no shower gel, little washing up liquid and small quantities of toilet roll, soap and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen was lovely but had some cupboard doors missing. The apartment was generally clean but a bit dusty around the edges.
