We had the most amazing time at Will’s home. It’s exactly as described. The home is so cozy and has everything you could ever need. We cooked in and went to a few of his recommended restaurants. Will was extremely responsive from booking to departure. We hope to stay again. Perfect location and the hot tub and deck are fabulous!

The cottage was clean. We enjoyed the hot tub and going out on the lake with the paddle boards and kayaks. We would definitely rent here again.

I had a very relaxing time here. My inquiry was responded to very quickly. I booked roughly 2 hrs before check in. Same day booking. I had no problems at all. The home is set up for guests. From nightlights in the bathroom and hallway to their coffee stand with different coffees, syrups, tea,etc. They even noticed I had a hard time lifting the hot tub top and sent someone over to help. I didn’t even have to ask. I don’t always feel at home some place new but I felt so comfortable and at home there. The owners are very kind and hospitable. I plan on returning for sure

This place is a gem! It was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 2 kids. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels, toilet paper and other essentials. The hot tub, kayaks/paddle boards, and fire pit were great amenities. The hosts were communicative and even let us check in early! We hope to come back soon!

We had a lovely stay at this amazing home! It was a great long weekend get away for our family. The home was exactly like the pictured and Shelly’s communication was fantastic. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and playing ping pong. The deer walking through the snow and the beautiful surroundings made for a very relaxing weekend! We would love to come back in warmer weather and experience this home in other seasons. Highly recommend!

The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. We loved this cabin. Real kayaks to use and are easy to access. The yard is amazing, neighbors are nice and gave us tips about the lake. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. The house itself is incredibly clean and cozy, and has all the things you need. I read some previous reviews about the water; I can see why it’s surprising to people who have only had city water, but I think it’s pretty typical well water and is fine to use and drink. The owner also provided bottled water.

Great stay. Had an issue with water, but Maxine got it fixed asap and was super responsive. The lake was a little bit of a walk, but there is a golf cart you could rent it needed. The cottage was very clean and everything was labeled very well! Thank you again for your hospitality.

We wanted a peaceful, relaxing and fun Fall getaway and that’s exactly what we got! The Cottage was everything we asked for- simple and cozy! The sunrise over the lake was gorgeous, coffee on deck started the days nicely and warm fires ended the nights!

Amazing place! Even better than expected! Although it says no AC, they have a little AC unit next to the couch and it makes the whole place so cool! We brought fans and didn't even need to use them. The view was absolutely beautiful. The sunsets on the water were truly breathtaking. I also wanted to mention how I love that we were able to spend it with our puppy, kind of rare to find a nice waterfront like this that allows animals! We will definitely be back next summer.

A Wonderful Experience at Cozy Hosting! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cozy Hosting, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The property is located right on the water, offering great views that made our stay even more enjoyable. The home was exactly as described—spacious, clean, and well-appointed. It had everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to cozy linens, making us feel right at home. I loved spending our mornings with coffee on the deck, soaking in the beautiful scenery. The water was clear, and the deck was even better than described. My wife and kids all felt at home and thoroughly enjoyed our week. This is one of the most well-appointed Airbnbs I have every stayed in, especially for someone who loves to cook! It was also very family friendly, as we had a one year old in tow. It is right on the lake and the view is so peaceful and blue. We came in cold weather so did not experience the water or the busy season, but it was perfect all the same. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was very clean. Everything - furniture, appliances, etc. - were spotless and in good working order. There were spots to store things, so even though there were six of us (including a baby!) it never felt cluttered or messy. Lots of games provided and the attached all season porch was nice for reading or winding down at the end of the day. 11/10 stars!!!

I booked this for an out of town employee and it was a great price and location for the money. The host was great about communicating with me and my employee and even reached out about something being left behind; will use again.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to feel right at home. The space was clean, cozy, and perfect for our weekend stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

This cottage was so cute and thoughtfully outfitted. Super clean, recently renovated with lots of charm and character. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a few dinners. It was all one level and, with the walk-in shower, it was perfect for my elderly dad. The beds were super comfy. We enjoyed eating breakfast looking out over the sunrise on the lake, and we played cards on their comfy back deck at night. It was a quick drive to hop on I-94 East or West, and only a 5 minute drive to a great grocery store, and a few minutes more to some restaurants. We had a problem with the smoke detector battery chirping and needing replacing, and the property manager had it fixed very quickly. If we were in the area again, we would definitely stay again!

This cottage was in the perfect location for the conference we attending at Suburban Collection in Novi. Very beautiful surroundings and the perfect place!

Very nice cabin in a quiet area on a small lake. Sherry was very friendly and responsive to our requests. This was the perfect "home away from home" for our little swimming adventure. we'll come back next year if we can.

Thank you so much for your beautiful cottage! Our family loved it. The area is so pretty-breathtaking really. The cottage is beautifully renovated and adorable. We were not able to go boating this trip, but we definitely hope to be back and to go out on the pontoon boat. There's so much more hiking we would love to do, but our family came to town to visit relatives, and celebrate our dad's 90th birthday, so our time here was focused on that. We were so glad that it was a mere 10 minutes to get to Chelsea and the assisted living where he is staying. Thank you also for the thoughtful welcome gifts! We stayed with our two children (1 and 3) for three months during some of our home renovations. It is super family friendly which is why we chose it! It was amazing to have a full size crib for our 1 year old, baby gates available and lots of toys/nugget couch for the kids to enjoy. I appreciated that the home felt lived in instead of brand new which meant I didn’t have to constantly worry about every move my kids made. We were comfortable here and the view was beautiful even though it was winter/early spring. Lindsey was great, always very responsive and answering any questions we had.
