Completely renovated cottage located in the heart of Lancaster County, minutes from Nook Sports and the new Penn State Hospital. It offers a 1st floor bedrm,full bath w/shower in tub , LR w/ gas fireplace,kitchen, laundry, dining area which opens onto a secluded patio, water feature,and perennial flower gardens. It was originally a grist mill that used water from the west branch of the Little Conestoga Creek to power a wheel used to grind flour. The mill has now been turned into a wonderfully updated residence with fantastic views on all sides,including one overlooking the creek. Enjoy the large rooms and peaceful grounds.

The mansion was home to the first treasurer of the US, General Edward Hand’s daughter, and President Buchanan’s fiance.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. The entire home has been newly renovated with thoughtful touches and an eclectic feel. Conveniences include a wood stove, sleep number mattress, Viking gas stovetop/oven, deck facing river with propane grill, a covered carport entry, and a 180* river view at the top of the property! We are very excited to welcome guests and hope to provide a memorable experience for all. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request. Wood stove $25/night.
