The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. An almost entirely open plan house with a vast master bedroom upstairs and a bunk room downstairs, the house sleeps up to six, with a modern kitchen, wood fire, outside deck and large garden, set close by the Wombat State Forest. Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Due to the coronavirus, we are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.

We are located in town, a short distance from Victoria Park and just a few minutes walk to beautiful Lake Daylesford, a good stroll in to the centre for shopping and food.
