Set in the centre of the Brecon Beacons National Park, this canal side spacious property (with en-suite) is set back from the road and offers tranquility. A great range of walks including Pen y Fan can be started from the front door. The traditional local pub (CAMRA award winner) is less than 150 metres away and serves a great variety of dishes. The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Captain’s Lookout is a cosy, self-contained studio on the first floor of an old granary, set within the courtyard of our 1750’s farmhouse. Ideal for romantic getaways or a break in the National Park……Set on the edge of the canal, it looks over a traditional canal boat marina. Easy for walks, bike rides and paddling adventures. Village pub near by which can also be walked to along the magical mon and brec canal. WiFi and TV. Not suitable for dogs, babies or young children.

Castle Shepherd's Hut

The shepherd's hut is situated alongside the 12th century Tretower castle on a working farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The hut features a comfortable double bed, en-suite shower, wood burning stove, underfloor heating and beautiful views in all directions. Outside there is a fire pit as well as a gas plancha for cooking.
