Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking and stunning views of the reservoir and Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with double bed upstairs and sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a run of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high, without guardrails and there is a shallow pond.

Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. The site is an ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers, or those who wish to enjoy and explore the Mendips, the Somerset Levels, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and more. Mead Terrace is a recently renovated terraced cottage in the heart of the popular village of Blagdon, with views over the Lake, and amazing Mendip dog walks on the doorstep. The open plan living room has a wood burner and Smart TV. Three bedrooms sleep six, with a brand new bathroom, kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine, among some of the comforts to make you feel at home. We are an ideal spot for wedding guests at Coombe Lodge, which is a 5 minute walk away.

The Vault

The Vault is a really special space, which we hope you can see from the photographs. It is a basement studio apartment with its own private entrance. It is quiet and cosy with underfloor heating and an ambient temperature all year round. This property is very central, making it easy to plan your visit. We are very close to the harbour and the property is on the famous Georgian Square, Queen Square. It feels like you have stepped into a film from Jane Austen as you come out of the building.

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Private parking.

Henley House Annex - Rooms with a view

Large modern annex situated within the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Fabulous views front and back to the hills and across the Somerset Levels. Great base for exploring Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, Wells, Priddy and much more with walking trails starting at the house. Ideal Studio for quiet work, for couples on a break, and young families. Large Bathroom, balconies, studio kitchenette, king sized bed and one optional sofa bed. Parking . Continental breakfast included.

Modern & spacious house in the countryside.

The Pavilion is a modern, purpose built holiday house in the quiet Somerset village of Yarlington. It has all the conveniences: Wood burning stove, underfloor heating, Washer & tumble dryer, Iron & ironing board, fast fibre optic broadband and a charging station for an electric or plug in hybrid car, but sadly the mobile phone signal is very poor. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

Holiday Barn in the Mendips

Anneth Lowen is a self-contained 2 bedroomed Barn within the grounds of Over Langford Manor. Located in Upper Langford and set in the heart of the North Somerset countryside on the Northern slopes of the Mendip Hills. The property has modern conveniences (including Satellite TV and Fibre optic Wifi), and also enjoys the picturesque gardens of Over Langford Manor as well as walks along the Mendips straight from your front door. We have now added an EV charging point for electric cars.
