On Strawberry Creek in Idyllwild's historic district, the Owl Pine Guest Cabin was built in 1922. It's the best of both worlds w/ plenty of nature (burbling creek, rock paths, trees, birds, mountain air, stars) + close to civilization (the property is near restaurants/shops). Native rock fireplace, hot tub, eclectic art, record collection/player, games, books, TV, Wifi, BBQ, fire pit hang deck. We have a chicken coop, happy to leave eggs at the cabin upon request. The Cozy Lodge & Tiki Treehouse sits down off a private, quiet, unpaved dirt road. The lodge is a 250sq ft cozy studio-guest cabin decorated with Idyllwild vintage decor and is backed up onto a secluded forest corridor with the tiki bar just a few steps away (think Pirates of the Caribbean meets Swiss Family Robinson). 5 min drive into the heart of Idy. Pet friendly/no pet fees.
