The cottage was just what we needed for a short stay in Abergavenny. it's perfectly located to explore the town or nearby park, which ours dogs loved. The beds were super comfy too and the garden a gem.

Victoria was a great host, very welcoming- was there to greet us when we arrived. The lodge was lovely- very clean and spacious, we really enjoyed the decking area and the hot tub! We used the sofa bed which was very comfortable and large. The dogs loved the garden area and the field which was fenced off, my younger border collie spent time watching the horses and birds, we also enjoyed seeing the alpacas. Nice and quiet- near to good walks such as Goytre Wharf canal :) Victoria left us a bottle of prosecco and welsh crisps which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here myself again. We were very lucky with amazing weather but the lodge would still be nice in the winter months as the hot tub is undercover and it has a cosy fire. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Beautiful house very easy walk through the park to the nearby shops. Everything you could need for a weekend away handy and even a shop across the road for groceries! Good communication about the trip and real pleasure to stay here

We had such a lovely month staying in this gorgeous barn conversion with our dogs. Sarah and Shaun are wonderful hosts. Very thoughtful and kind. They accommodated us with a much later check out which helped us massively. Cannot recommend highly enough ⭐️

I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

This was great for our rugby trip to Wales. We chose Pontneddfechan as we are actually from the nearby village of Cwmgwrach, but now live in the Lake District in Cumbria. 5 of us stayed here and were very happy with the location, in close proximity of everything we needed. We do this trip every 2 years. so hopefully see you again then . thank you

Loved staying here. It is on a quiet street, close to a park and the river. The cottage is really well equipped and designed, with everything you need for a long weekend. There’s a wood burner and other heating if you need it - very cosy and secure!

This was a family stay with elderly mum so the ground floor and general access was excellent. parking right outside. super clean. Sean was very accommodating to our needs and delivered everything we asked. loved that we had tea, coffee, milk,biscuits, sugar, ect also soap, towels shower gel, washing up liquid cleaning products. this all makes a lovely touch. Quiet ,so sleeping not an issue. would highly recommend.

We stayed at Sarah's as we were watching a show at the Wales Millenium Stadium, and it was fantastic. We could walk from Sarah's to a number of bars and restaurants and then it was a 10 minute stroll along flat, wide pavements from the stadium back to the flat. There was no need to worry about parking or sitting in traffic queues. If you are going to watch something at the stadium I would highly recommend this flat. It was great.

A beautiful, well-appointed large flat in a quiet area. We were not great walkers but found it easy to get to and from the town centre by bus. So good to have an off road parking space too as the surrounding roads are full of parked cars. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Liz's and would highly recommend if you're ever in Cardiff. It was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and we made use of it. I was also able to do some work with a desk and good internet connection. it was wonderfully decorated and we found ourselves distracted by all the artwork surrounding us. Liz was a fantastic host and we'd recommend to anyone.

Victoria was the most wonderful host we could have asked for, so friendly, helpful with lots of personal touches. The apartment was beautiful, clean and everything we could have wanted with stunning views. We can’t wait to come back thank you so much for a perfect night away

We had a lovely stay here, peaceful tranquil surroundings. The lamb and goat kids were so cute to watch in the evenings. Host also extremely helpful. Lots of good recommendations we didn't have enough time to see them all! Super friendly. Will certainly return again

We had a great stay, the flat has all you need. it’s spacious and bright. Very close to the town and sea. Very well maintained.

This is a beautiful, relaxing and easy space to rent for a weekend.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

Really enjoyed staying here for a hen party. The property was as described and the photos represented it well. The only downside was the bunk beds were smaller than we anticipated. Anyone over 5ft will struggle to sleep comfortably in these beds as they are shorter than a standard bed.
