The large wraparound porch surrounded by the lush landscape and natural beauty of the cold spring, creates an environment that you don’t want to miss. If you choose to be adventurous there is hiking trails, biking, fishing, kayaking and several state parks with lakes nearby. Enjoy!

We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to local wineries, bowling alley, pub/diner, escape room & movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Hershey Park, Knobels Grove, Rausch Creek, & other fun adventures are near. Great sledding! Cozy ski hut!

Come and enjoy your stay at the Historic Lakewood Park. We have ten cabins open year-round for rental at the property. Each offers an enjoyable experience on our 63-acre and 10-acre lake. Amenities include single-room cabins with fireplace, kitchenette, queen bed, couch (folds to a bed), private bathroom with 5' tiled shower, wifi, cable TV, lake fishing, hiking, outdoor firepit, grill, and more. Also, not for persons over 6'4", built by short people! Off-road parking available BEHIND house. For those with allergies: please note the house is next to a mountain and lots of "nature." Pets are also welcome.

Quaint cottage overlooking Beurys Lake...or as my dad lovingly says..."its more like a shallow pond". For those who love a sweet quiet cottage get away with a gorgeous view, this is the perfect place for you. 2 Kayaks are here for your use...on my shallow, but pretty lake. One bathroom, with stand up shower, with washer/dryer, and yes, my water heater all are cozied up in there together.
