Charming home, lots of character. Kid friendly, and within walking distance of a park and grocery store. Host was very gracious and helpful when things broke, or needed maintenance. We would recommend this stay to anyone who does not require wheelchair access, and who is comfortable with proximity to trains. TLDR Beautiful, comfortable, clean, not wheelchair accessible and conveniently located!

We had the pleasure of staying at Cody’s beautiful home for nearly three weeks while welcoming our first grandson. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless and well-maintained the place was—it was truly squeaky clean. The kitchen and laundry amenities were top-notch and state of the art, making our stay all the more convenient. The home itself is comfortable, thoughtfully equipped, and furnished with great taste. Cody was a wonderful host, and we would highly recommend both him and his home to anyone looking for a peaceful and high-quality stay

Four of us stayed at Ryan’s place for a girl’s weekend and it was fantastic. The home needs some cosmetic updating but that mattered not at all to us- the place was clean and perfect for us to just hang out. The views are beautiful and it’s an easy drive to downtown Galena. We especially loved how there are labels on things in the kitchen and light switches to make it easy to know where to put things or what turns something on, etc. We also loved being able to leave the house at check out and not have a laundry list of things we must do to clean up. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, so make sure if you are coming you bring your own. We just borrowed from a neighbor until we could get into town and buy some. Our stay couldn’t have been better and we so appreciate the hospitality.

My family of 5 traveled to Galena over Thanksgiving and stayed in this home. It was very comfortable and clean, and my family had a wonderful visit. Everything in the home was as described, and Stephen was quick to respond to any questions that I had. The town is charming, and quaint. We went on a ghost tour, shopped downtown and went to Grant’s home. We would 100% stay at Stephen’s place again if we ever go back to Galena!

Six of our employees stayed at Jame's place, and overall, it was a great experience. The accommodation was exactly as pictured, and James was very friendly and proactive. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area!

We had a great stay here! The house is beautiful and private. We grilled, used the hot tub, played pool. We thoughts the beds and the linens were very comfortable!! Our whole group was impressed with the house.

The place is huge. We only had 5 people but you could easily fit twice that. Everything overall clean. Likely to return again!

We had a great time. My kids (and the adults) loved the arcade games and foosball table. There was plenty of space and wonderful walking trails. My kids also loved swimming at the pool. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
