Welcome to your one-of-a-kind, historic experience located in the countryside just 1 mile east of Springfield city limits. You will experience our finely furnished family home with modern technology & conveniences, originally the one-room North Round Prairie country school from 1875 to 1945. Deluxe features include nature trails, wildflowers, sitting areas, full garage access, and a working cattle farm provide a one-of-a-kind, quality experience. A 3rd bedroom suite upstairs was added in '22!

Tiny Home Cabin - No Cleaning Fee

You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. It maybe small at 375 sf, but it has all the features of most hotels with one queen bed and a full bed in the loft. Located near downtown Springfield, IL and many Abraham Lincoln attractions. Deer often walk around the property which is on a quiet dead-end residential street. The kitchen has most everything you need to cook meals. Plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, and extra pillows. Watch Netflix, Hulu, and Disney also.

The Havana Cabana is your home away from home. Take time to breathe and just be by soaking in your surroundings and being with the people that matter most. We strive to provide you with a relaxing atmosphere and great amenities. You will have full access to your own private, sandy beach (directly behind the home) with amazing sunset views and great fishing. We provide 3 adult kayaks, one double and one child (under 150 pounds), and a pedal boat. Great outdoor fire-pit for s’mores and memories.

Located in VIRGINIA, IL-Our fantastic, urban vibed loft sits on the town square across from the town's historical courthouse. We are 30 minutes from Springfield, 15 minutes from Jacksonville and in the middle of Abe Lincoln territory and historical markers. The loft is also surrounded by lovely wineries and wildlife parks. Be sure to thoroughly read our listing to ensure that we'll meet all of your needs in exploring our unique area. Two Doors Down is a hidden gem listed at a super price!

Audrey's Abode

Audrey’s Abode is just the place you have been looking for to relax and reconnect with family, friends, nature and a simpler time. Located on a 7 acre hobby farm just south of Jacksonville, Illinois (30 minutes west of Springfield), Audrey’s Abode is a fully restored historic log cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable getaway. Need additional space? Check out our other listing next door - Bunkhouse Seventy-Four. Pets are welcome but we charge a $35 pet cleaning fee.

The Flat

A historic mid-1800’s building on the Petersburg Square! Guests will enjoy the entire apartment-loft which includes private Queen bedroom and private bath. The main living area features a full kitchen, dishwasher, 1/2 bath and washer & dryer. Accommodates up to six guests (airbeds, sofa bed pull out). Smoking of any kind (including cigarettes, cigars, vaping, or marijuana) is not permitted inside the space. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees.

Full studio apartment by the best Springfield park

Historic home attic converted to a private 3rd floor apartment, featuring private kitchen and bathroom. Located just two blocks from what many would agree is the best park in Springfield, with a pond, a botanical garden, tennis courts, a playground, and nice roads to run, walk, bike, or skate on. We are also very close to downtown as well as other commercial areas. This space is on the 3rd floor with private access from outdoor stairs and keypad entry.

You are going to love the Holly and Matt suite. This unique, octagon-shaped, two story suite is set behind an 1875 Italianate mansion perched high atop one of Petersburg's many hills. There is a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee/tea station and serene views from your second story screened in porch. This suite is perfect for a 2 night visit up to an extended stay.
