The Coach House

This expertly refurbished 19th-century Coach House is full of character and all ready for your luxurious relaxing break. The open-plan living area has a exceptional view, and when you want a change there's a large smart TV and good-quality broadband for entertainment. The kitchen comes with induction hob and oven, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as all the pots, pans & utensils you need for cooking up delicious meals. The shower room/toilet is conveniently tucked away in a corner. Walk up the distinctive oak staircase to find the upstairs bedroom, with its impressive round window. It sleeps up to three people in a kingsize double bed and a separate single, and there's also room for a travel cot for an infant.The Coach House is ideal for a couple on a romantic escape, or for a family with young children looking for a safe space to relax and play. Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

Maple Lodge offers a well-equipped open plan contemporary styled kitchen/living/sleeping area on the ground floor with separate bath/shower room. Outside is a private balcony with stunning garden and countryside views.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Pat's Flat - peaceful stay on a beautiful farm.

Pat's Flat: a converted Pig Barn located on a peaceful farm, within the beautiful Wye Valley AONB. The historic towns of Monmouth and Ross on Wye, the river and Forest of Dean with their outdoor leisure activities - canoeing, paddle boarding, hiking, biking - are easily accessible. A couple of pubs, eateries and village shop are within a few miles walk. Sorry - no pets - this is a working farm and there are friendly Labradors in the adjoining property who are likely to come and say hello.

Welcome to Fallows Annexe - a recently renovated private guest suite set in woodland in the beautiful Wye Valley. Open up the bi-fold doors and enjoy the sun-trap decking area with BBQ. Sit in the hot tub (new for 2026!) on a starry night and listen to the resident owl! Or snuggle up inside by the cosy bio-fuel burner. Fallows Annexe is located in a walkers paradise just up the hill from Symonds Yat and just across the River Wye from the Forest of Dean. Well-behaved dogs/cats are welcome.

The Game Larders

Wythall is a half-timbered manor house in a secluded and idyllic setting with garden, fresh water lake, wooded grounds and vineyards. You will enjoy peace and quiet here and see an abundance of wildlife. Wine tastings and vineyard tours are also available via appointment. The Game Larders is completely self contained and situated in the west wing of the manor house. It is well equipped and furnished, with access to ample parking space and central heating throughout. Pets are welcome.

Relax and take in the beautiful surrounding scenery at Boathouse which sits along the bank of River Wye in an AONB with spectacular views across the river. There are plenty of activities/adventures to keep you busy! Including wild swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, climbing Yat rock, bike riding, woodland walks and fishing. The cosy cottage is set in an ideal location for either a peaceful relaxing break or an active holiday with foot paths, bike trails, canoeing and rock climbing right on the door step. The cottage has its own garden with seating areas to sit and relax whilst taking in the panoramic views across the valley. There are a few traditional pubs and restaurants nearby.
