The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Overall this is a great place to stay with your family for a good adventure. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating to your needs. There is everything you could possibly need at this property to make your vacation worthwhile!

Just got home from our little get away. The cabin was wonderful! Had everything we wanted. The view waking up to from the bedroom window was breathtaking. The kitchen had everything you could need and the view from that huge picture window was beautiful! We enjoyed the large hot tub and made good use of the pool table. The weather wasn't the best and got a little chilly but the fireplace helped with that. This weekend was exactly what we needed....Beauty, relaxation and peace! Thanks Mark!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Checking in and out was very easy. The nearby waterfall is such a cool addition! As others have noted, the driveway to get to the cabin is bumpy. We had to drive slowly and carefully in our small car.

Man this place was perfect. Exactly what we was looking for. Way nicer in person. On the side of a mountain basically by itself. Few houses around but never seen or heard anyone. Right In between seneca rocks and seneca caverns. First time trying Airbnb and ill definitely be back. Good restaurant at seneca caverns. Take a paper map for exploring 😉. Cabin is perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

This location was fantastic, plenty of room and things to do. Very peaceful. The host had clear directions on how to make this stay as smooth as possible, and was very communicative ! A great getaway in the woods! Private without being isolated. Very close to lots of great hiking and the fire amenities were a perfect way to enjoy this cozy home. Super dog friendly airbnb too!

Amelia’s cozy cabin packs in a lot of fun! There is something for everyone. We loved the heated screened porch, kids loved the trampoline, games, building bonfires, and cooking pizzas in the pizza oven. The well stocked kitchen was a huge bonus! The cabin is located in a great community with a variety of lovely walks and is perfectly situated for skiing at Timberline. We also spent time visiting Thomas / Davis. We had a fantastic dinner at Elender’s, afterwards we enjoyed ice cream and music at the Purple Fiddle. But what we loved most was hanging at the cabin and listening to albums. We can’t wait to return! Tips for future guests: For our next visit we will be sure to pack shampoo, soap, as we forgot but otherwise the cabin has everything you need. If you are sensitive to cats, bring allergy pills. The dander is very minimal. Amelia is a wonderful host. She is very responsive and provided lots of fun local suggestions and pizza oven cooking tips!

We stayed in this cabin over Easter weekend for 4 nights and three days, and we couldn't have been more pleased with this cabin. Our main vacations are going to cabins, so I spend a lot of time looking at properties and reading reviews and I kept coming back to this one and finally booked it. I was so glad I did! It was clean, quiet, in a beautiful location, and other than taking a drive along South Branch River Road on Easter Sunday we stayed at the cabin the whole time. My husband even said that this was probably one of the best cabins we've stayed in and would really like to return. We felt comfortable and right at home. We were also fortunate to arrive just as the Lilac bush at the corner of the porch was in full bloom and the smell was intoxicating. The back deck view and stars was just icing on the cake. Thank you!

This rustic, cozy cabin was the perfect spot for an impromptu weekend in the mountains for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt. It was cold outside but heating worked well! So appreciated the little conveniences provided, like dishwasher and laundry soap, paper towels & clear, easy checkout instructions. Great location in easy drive to Davis main street and skiing. Laura was a super responsive host. Would def return!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Easy to rent and get to. Everything on the first floor was wheelchair accessible for my wife. My dachshund even enjoyed the access too. Very relaxing sitting on the two porches watching the many deer. Everything was enjoyable and relaxing. Very professional workers when they contacted me to check the hot tub several times.

We had an amazing stay, it's a very well equipped cabin, in an amazing, beautiful and very quiet place, exactly the kind of retreat we were looking for. Great mountais view. The nearby town is also very quiet and receptive, where it's easy to buy food and supplies. Su and her husband are amazing people and always willing to help. I can't wait to go back.

A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

Carmen was an amazing host! Her place was a great spot for a getaway right outside Shenandoah. The hot tub was very nice after a day out hiking. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals and the fire place was nice to relax beside. Bed was comfortable! Definitely a great place to stay!

Our family had the best time here! Loved the yurt! There is a creek across the street that the children played in, we fished in the pond, played baseball in the meadow, had a campfire under the stars. The beds were super comfortable, we enjoyed the privacy and the beauty of the area. We hope to go back and stay longer next time! Well appointed kitchen, super clean home, responsive host, beautiful views through the many windows, private stay yet close to activities. It’s a gem, for sure!

We booked this cabin for a two-family Easter vacation. It was just perfect! The layout was spacious and beautiful. The best parts were the well-stocked kitchen (I made a 7 course Easter feast plus dessert), the comfortable and enclosed porch, and the general outdoors! The kids had so much fun hunting all around the yard and surrounding woods for their eggs and the adults had plenty of spaces to sit around a fire, relax in the hot tub, or enjoy some family games. We would absolutely book again!

We really enjoyed the cozy cottage. The surrandings were beautiful. The hot tub was a great addition. Nice size and very clean. The cottage is a great place for a family get away. I will return. Thankyou so much for wverything.

Buck's Run was a beautiful cabin tucked away in the Shenandoah. It was a peaceful getaway for my friends and we enjoyed lounging about playing board games, reading, soaking in the hot tub, and staring out into the woods as the snow fell. Jen was very proactive in making sure we were going to be ok with the incoming storm and Pete their local manager was very responsive with questions we had.

Located in a very remote, quite and beautiful part of Shenandoah with everything you need right there. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub an amazing relaxation experience.
