Host was not at the bnb when we arrived. We did not know how to get in. As it turned out, the key was under the mat at the door, but we spent a lot of time knocking before we thought of looking there. It would have been useful if we had been notified that the key was under the mat. Since no one was there to show us where our room was, we had to "explore" to find it.

We were not aware that we had to share a bathroom. When we left the next morning, we were unable to use the bathroom because other people were in it. The bathroom was not available for the 45 minutes it took us to pack up and get ready to leave. We finally left without brushing our teeth, washing our faces, etc.

This was a great little stop over on my way back home to Ventura - I caught an amazing sunrise at the top of the street. I did have a small issue with a barking dog on site but it was taken care of right away by the owner; he was right on top of it and was very professional about the disruption which I really appreciated.
