Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. We invite you to come...... and experience country life.

Walking distance to downtown Watervliet, which hosts a brewery and a few restaurants. 1.5 miles to Lake Paw Paw and a 15 minute drive to the beaches on Lake Michigan. Not only do you have a spacious house to relax in, there is, also, a huge backyard to grill, play games, and unwind after a day of fun. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES-max occupancy is 7 and will be strictly enforced. Shower seat and toilet grab bar available upon request.
