We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Croeso i Cymru! Welcome to Wales! A Beautiful small bright and cosy detached suite in St Athan old Village. The suite is accessed via staircase. Lovely view of the countryside, quiet, calm and relaxing. We allow a small dog, guests need to inform hosts of their intention to bring their pet with them, as there are certain rules/guidelines. We have the beautiful Morgan Jones’ Park on our doorstep through which you can access the rear of the Castle grounds. A scenic walk around the grounds to the front of the Castle will bring you to the town centre where you’ll find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. We have 3 local train stations that take you into Cardiff City Centre, and bus stop outside the door to Caerphilly Station.
