Wanda’s home was beautiful and cozy! It was a perfect couples getaway. We loved the privacy while also being a short drive to restaurants, a grocery store, and activities!

This property was the perfect spot for a multi-family getaway, due in large part to Carla's attention to detail and very genuine care for the quality of our stay. Everything in the home is organized and labeled, the game room and hot tub are a great time, and the deck with it's nice lake view, comfortable seating, and propane firepit, is perfect for relaxing. We loved that the home was pet friendly and offers three king beds and a double bunk room for the kids. Having access to the Alpine Lake pool and fun and easy hiking trails created hours and hours of fun while the stocked kitchen, packed board game closet, and large dining room table provided the opportunity for relaxing family meals and games together with a crackling fire in the background. The price is amazingly reasonable for all that this house has to offer and we are so grateful to Carla for her great communication and overall attentiveness to ensure we had the most perfect trip - which we most certainly did!

Jesse was a fantastic host! We had a wonderful time connecting with friends! The property was beautiful we spent lots of time outside, by the fire, pond, and playing yard game! Thank you for sharing your home!

Wonderful long weekend in Deep Creek. Perfect for someone visiting in wheelchair as well, I had messaged the lodge and they made sure we had a clear path to the front entrance. We didn’t realize there wasn’t a stove in the cabin but we made everything work. Would highly recommend

Great retreat from DC. It was a completely unique experience in the woods with outdoor showers, fire pits and trails - but without being forced to camp. You don’t have to spare any amenities with a comfy bed, very clean house, real bathroom and super nice towels. As a city girl I loved it - and my Eagle Scout boyfriend did not feel robbed from nature (although he called it a hotel). My bulldog Tony didn’t know what to do with all the grass and trees. A true treat. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful weekend at Whispering Pines. The home had beautiful views, great lake access, and was the perfect distance from the restaurants and shops. We visited in the off season so there were not a lot of boats out and it was very quiet. There were some light bulbs out and things of that nature, but again, it was the off season. Everything about the home was perfect and allowed us to get away and truly just enjoy ourselves. I would definitely be interested in staying here again in the future.

We had a great time at this place! The property was spacious enough for our group of 11 and could comfortably accommodate up to 15 people. It was nice, clean, and cozy. The host provided clear instructions throughout the house (kitchen, bathroom, walls, etc.), making everything easy to navigate. There were plenty of towels, pillows, and kitchen essentials, and the host even stocked ice melt, which came in handy due to the snow. However, the kitchen appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, oven) were on the smaller side for a large group, and one of the cooktop burners wasn’t working. Also, while the listing mentioned a community heated pool, it was quite cold which dampened our afternoon.

We loved our stay at the Spruce Cabin! We were impressed as soon as we got in the door at how nice the cabin was and how comfortable the space was to stay in, Mike and Marta had everything we needed in the cabin to make our stay relaxed and easy from cookware to linens, a grill, and fire put with firewood nearby. Check-in/Check-out were quick and easy. Amenities were above and beyond what was described and of good quality/easy to use! We loved the location - very close to anything and everything you want to do in the Deep Creek Lake/Oakland area, but tucked just far enough away from the main road, that it was peaceful and private! We’ve already recommended the Spruce Cabin to friends and family, and would highly recommend it to anyone else who happens to read this review!

We enjoyed our stay! The home is in a great location. We had some rain over the course of the stay which made having a roof over the hot tub very helpful. We also liked spending time in the basement with the pool table. Definitely would be interested in staying here again!

Our family of 13 loved this cozy cabin. The kitchen had everything necessary to make meals, the beds we’re comfortable and clean, and there was a big fenced in yard with a fire-pit. The location was just minutes to Wisp, shops and great restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous spot for escaping into a private oasis and enjoying some peace and quiet. Loved this setting and the cabin was so cozy on a rainy spring weekend. We did get to enjoy the outdoor fire pit during a clear evening and could hear coyotes and owls and lots of frogs in the surrounding woods. Loved everything about the inside of the cabin too, perfect balance of simple and rustic with luxe amenities like the amazing bath tub! Definitely glad we had AWD for the road too. We’ll certainly be back!

Fantastic cabin for the price! perfect size for a small family looking to spend time in nature. My family and I loved our stay and look forward to coming back!

Okk where do I begin the location deep in the hills where nobody can find me ..I love the mountains vibe.. the air smell fresher the grass and trees are looking healthy ! The cabin it's self is very very nice I came for birthday it gave everything I wanted . This was my first time getting in the Jacuzzi while freezing cold and now I prefer it that way 103 degree water.. yes gimme that!!. I love the basement that's where I kicked butt on the pool table it was another nice table game I liked that as well. It was all so relaxing with my fiance and kids & brother sitting by the fire place watching movies and enjoying the scenery. And I can't forget Neci she was definitely on top of everything and she responds quickly any thing I needed help with she was on it she even gave me some places to go for food. I give her a 5 star alone bc of her hospitality! I definitely will be back it was well worth it❤️❤️❤️

My dog and I had an absolutely delightful time staying at Ben and Nicole’s cabin! The place was clean, cozy, and charming. Whether curled up inside drinking coffee and reading during a thunderstorm, birdwatching on the deck, or hiking in the nearby state parks, I found the visit to be incredibly relaxing and restorative. This is a gem of a vacation spot.

My wife and I stayed at this same cabin a couple years ago. This year we wanted to find a place for a back to school trip for the family before our son starts school. We remembered this cabin and saw it allowed dogs. So we planned the trip and brought the entire family this time and it was a great trip. It was very peaceful and a great location. We were able to get to a couple different parks for hikes every day and then we could come back and relax in the evening. It was a lot of fun and we would definitely do it again.
