It is ideally suited for a single person on a longer stay or a couple on a shorter stay. The bed is a small double at 4ft wide. Nestled between Nightingale Valley and Eastwood Farm nature reserve, Mylor Lodge is a new self-contained lodge for visitors to Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas. Formerly a workshop to the main residence “Mylor” an Edwardian villa built in 1905 for the then Lord Mayor of Bristol, A.J. Smith. Just a short 12 minute journey to Cabot Circus, yet with river walks and ancient woodlands only a 2 minute stroll away, Mylor Lodge offers a haven away from the hustle & bustle of the city.

Half way between Bath and Bristol is our charming and cosy eighteenth century newly renovated old stable. This unique space is the perfect retreat for two in a village location with Georgian Bath six miles in one direction and vibrant Bristol six miles in the other. And when you want to escape from the delights of these very different cosmopolitan centres there are many beautiful walks here on the edge of the Cotswolds to explore, with two lovely country pubs within walking distance.

Trio of rooms which are part of our home, yet separate, where guests can relax and feel at home. Shops and restaurants are a few minutes’ walk away, but guests can prepare light meals at home if they prefer. We are a five minute drive from the M32 which in turn links up with the M4 and M5 motorways. There is parking on the property for one small car. Bristol Parkway station is a 10 minute drive away and we are served by buses to Bath, Parkway Station, and to the city centre.

Southville is a very popular part of Bristol and home to Upfest, which is Europe’s biggest street art festival. The accommodation itself is a self-contained part of our home with its own private entrance. Inside, you’ll find a bright and spacious bedroom with en suite shower room. Directly beneath in the basement is a lounge area with kitchenette.

We are on hand to solve problems, but more often than not you may not actually see us at all.
