Close to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water, Ohiopyle, and many outdoor activities including rafting, hiking, biking, and kayaking. There's a smart TV for those rainy or cold days, as well as some games and books. A beautiful spot to simply relax, and a great base location for your next adventure.

Some of the most beautiful areas such as Swallow Falls, Herrington Manor and Rock Maze are only a short drive away. Enjoy skiing at Wisp Resort or boating and swimming at Deep Creek State Park. Nestled in the holler of Leadmine, WV is our hut. So close to Thomas, WV with their streets of shopping; Davis, WV with Blackwater Falls and restaurants; Canaan is not much further up the road. And the endless trails to ride your buggies!!

The Homestead

Escape to this modern log cabin in the woods of West Virginia. Situated on the West Virginia-Maryland border, it was built in 2016 and offers a reprieve from city living. It is isolated (no window treatments; see photos) and features a light-filled open master bedroom loft, large shower, two additional bedrooms, and a hot tub. You are completely secluded in the woods, yet it is only 30 miles from WVU's Mountaineer Field and 13 miles from Wisp Resort. We hope to host you!
