Beautiful place! Went on a girls trip and it fit exactly what we needed, cozy, nice views and relaxing. Only things I feel the need to make people aware of are that the hot tub is off the side of the house and you have to walk over gravel to get to it so bring flip flops, and that there are a TON of bugs in the house, we had ladybugs and stink bugs all over, fine for us but if it’s not something you can handle then bring traps. Overall amazing trip!

Very well decorated and planned place. The theme of duck duck moose will be present as you get to relax and enjoy with another family (9-10 people comfortably)

From the moment we stepped in, we were impressed by the thoughtfully designed interiors that radiated both warmth and elegance. The property truly exceeded our expectations. The spacious layout provided plenty of room for everyone to relax, while the play options for the kids were an absolute delight—they had such a great time! The well-appointed kitchen, with its clean and modern utilities, made cooking feel like a treat. Every detail was clearly curated with care and attention, creating an environment that felt inviting and luxurious at the same time. It added so much joy to our trip, and we’ll always treasure the memories we made here. We hope to return someday!

Check in was so easy. Any questions we had were answered right away. The house was beautiful and so clean! It fit our family so well! It was so peaceful and quiet. The kids had a blast! There were deer near the house, they even came into the yard which was amazing. The house was about 20 minutes from all kinds of attractions which made it a great location, close to everything but still private. Loved it!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful, very clean and cozy and felt right at home. There were tons of amenities provided. Absolutely gorgeous scenery, very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the regular world. Our host went above and beyond, and was incredibly helpful. We had a snowstorm during our stay. She was incredibly helpful with making sure we were safe, had everything we needed, and assisted with getting our car out from getting stuck. The locals in the surrounding area were also very kind with assisting in their efforts. She was readily available and ensured that our stay was spectacular, I would absolutely stay again and have her as a host. We are incredibly grateful for all the efforts she did, our weekend was exactly the getaway we needed and her help was irreplaceable. We look forward to next time!

Our family of 4 had an amazing time at Whispering Pines. Peaceful, quiet, and relaxing all describe the location perfectly. Able to recharge! Laura was very responsive and helpful. Fishing, chickens, horses….kids loved it. Great fire pit in the backyard. Inside was comfortable and cozy with large rooms, comfortable beds and couches. We loved the entire trip and will be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at this cabin during our visit to New Vrindavan, and though our trip started with challenges, it became unforgettable thanks to Shane and his incredible family. Our car got stuck in the muddy gravel road upon arrival. Shane and his family worked tirelessly all day to help us, even into the evening, despite lacking the right tools. Their determination and care deeply moved us. The next morning, Shane went above and beyond, searching the city for tools and successfully freeing our car that afternoon. To our amazement, he offered us an extra night at no cost. We’ve never experienced such kindness and generosity. Shane and his family treated us like their own, with genuine care and compassion. Anytime we visit the area, we’ll book this cabin and recommend it to everyone. Shane and his family are some of the kindest, most generous people we’ve ever met. We came into town for a wedding at The White Barn which was about a 15 minute drive. We loved the property and walked about 4 miles of trails and did some fishing and saw a LOT of deer. The cabin was perfect for my husband and I to unwind and realx- our cell service ( verizon) was a bit spotty but we were totally ok with unplugging a bit. The cabin had everything we needed and the bathouse was spotless! Thank you for making it such an enjoyable stay for us!! ~ Shelly & Jamie

this property is so unique and beautiful. The bed was so comfortable. The entire environment was relaxing. I highly recommend a soak in the tub! We will be back when we have time to explore the grounds and HEDGE MAZE! If the weather had been better this time, we would have done more exploring. Bill was very kind and attentive. We were surprised by delicious baked goods both days of our stay. The cottage is quaint, cozy, and a great little retreat for us and our dog. It is also conveniently located for trips to morgantown. We're already talking about staying again!

if you stay here, and you should, please take the time to notice AND appreciate the detail, decore, and the detail that went into the renovation of this 'chalet'. I say this because I have spent a great deal of time in Bavaria and the Alps and this place is three different areas in one cohesive BnB. the photos and descriptions do not truly tell the story... this 'chalet' is AWESOME and it's within about 800 yards of a dozen great hikes with amazing Vistas...

Lovely cabin that had everything we needed. Loved that I got to bring my dog to enjoy the weekend with us!

Our family of four and dog really enjoyed Tina and Robert’s Kendall Retreat. We stayed for 6 days and would have stayed longer if we could. Fun little area to explore, and their guidebooks are super helpful and spot on. The house was clean, space was perfect for us, and we loved enjoying the deck, fireplace, view and cooking in the beautiful kitchen. Ping pong and game system were added bonuses. Lots to do in the area in spring. Hiking, arcades/tracks, breweries, fun restaurants and also exploring the trails around the house. Would go back!

The turning leaf lodge was a great place! It had a nice outdoor space for our family. Has enough room inside and out. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to relax and enjoy some quiet time.

Went up for my bachelor trip, can honestly say it was a solid place to stay. Movie theater was dope and the pool table & hot tub were great. We enjoyed our time

Great quiet area, Walmart was about 20 mins away for you shoppers. Also was about 10 mins from Grocery store and ice cream shop. Great house to relax and unwind.

We loved our stay!! Such a convenient location to many activities and the lake access is very nice!

Accommodations to fit our whole family. Comfortable, felt like home, spacious. Suprised at how many appliances were available. We brought crock pots and blenders… didn’t need them. The house was stocked with everything you need! Plenty of blankets and towels, as well. Easy process and clear instructions for access and leaving

Our family (7) was very comfortable at this cabin. It was clean- smelled fresh, clean linens, everything was wiped down and the floors were clean enough to allow our little one to crawl around. The space was perfect for a summertime getaway. We utilized the hot tub, fire pit and screened in porch daily to enjoy the beautiful wooded views and clear starry sky. There is another cabin somewhat close on one side, but the other side is just wooded and we still felt we had plenty of privacy. The area was overall secluded and sooo quiet! The cabin was quite impressive, actually bigger and better in person. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and there were plenty of towels and linens. (They do mean it when they say they aren't providing toiletries and supplies though!) The only 'down side' to this property was the condition of the deck and outdoor furniture. It was pretty rough so we couldn't allow the kids out there too much bc of splintering. Other than that- it was lovely.

Almost Heaven! Perfect home, perfect location for a family get-together. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and all needs will be met. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Just bring food! The lake is crystal clear and beautiful, and tall trees cover the landscape. The deer, chipmunks, squirrels and birds are right outside the door. The firepit was our evening spot to gather and chat. And toast marshmallows. And even though the kids are in their 40's, they made s'mores! This is a place to revive your soul. I could stay here forever.

This is truly a great spot! We had the opportunity to come and stay for a long weekend and it was just perfect. We were thrilled with the kitchen and the many kitchen items they have for guest use. As a family that likes to cook, this was a huge bonus! Booking through air b&b, then communicating with Railey Vacations was super easy. We ended up extending an extra night because we just loved it here! Also a bonus that our two dogs could join us. Our kids loved the theater and hot tub, and these views of Wisp just can’t be beat. Will definitely book again, hopefully sometime in the summer also!

Beautiful house with a grand deck and dock. We really enjoyed it here and wished we could stay longer. My only peeve was having to bring hand soap, dish soap, paper towels and toilet paper - I've never stayed in an Air Bnb and needed to do that, and we do a large group ski trip every year. Despite that, I would definitely return to this location. The grill and hot tub worked well, the layout was inviting and there were plenty of beds and baths. Would have loved to stay longer and use the dock.
