Charming mountain house with big yard and plenty to keep kids busy. Spacious inside with plenty of space and beds. Providing linens, paper products, dishwasher tabs, trash bags is a nice touch and super convenient. Short walk to club house and amenities. Very responsive host.

The cabin is adorable, cozy, and gives the rustic, mountain feel. It is in walking distance to the lake and restaurants. Wildlife is plentiful, as the deer come frequently and look at you when you talk to them, and I even got to see one of the resident bears. The cabin is well stocked with kitchen wear, toilet paper, paper towels, coffee and coffee additives.. I would definitely stay again.

Our 4th stay at Lyle’s and we’re already looking forward to our next visit! The location is ideal and the fenced in yard is perfect for our dog and kids. We always feel right at home here and Lyle is the best host! He’s responsive, kind and proactive. Love that the location is away from the main strip of Jim Thorpe but still so close to everything. We’ll be back again (and again and again)!

Caterina’s place was perfect for our overnight stay. Our dog loved the large and secure yard and we like the old home charm. We found a parking spot right in front of the house, and we felt that the road was not very busy. Caterina was very responsive, and had left many thoughtful treats for everyone. Will stay with her again.

Fantastic stay!! Home is unique and spacious. Great common areas but the layout of the house also allows for some privacy if someone wants to go to bed early, nap etc. which was ideal for our family. Outdoor space is beautiful! lots of wildlife to admire. Fishing ponds were the highlight of my 15yr olds stay. He caught perch, brook trout, brown trout and rainbows! We all had a blast and can’t wait to go back! Did a few day excursions to Jim Thorpe, Hickory Run and a few other stops, all a quick trip from ‘home’! Gary was attentive and extremely welcoming! Great host!

I'll be honest, I don't really write reviews. This house is my exception. This property exceeded every expectation my family and I had for our vacation. The property was accurately described with every amenity imaginable! Additionally, the extra touches on the property made our stay comfortable and really memorable. We had never been to the Poconos before, and this property elevated our experiences. We plan to return and hopefully stay in this home again. Finally, Penpa's communication was second to none. Every step of the trip the host provided detailed instructions, quick support with any questions, and reasonable flexibility with requests that made their property the best experience my wife or I have ever had with Airbnb in the 13 years we've used the service. Thank you to both of you for a wonderful experience. Your home is something special, and the way you run your property is exceptional. We really appreciated it.

Amazing surroundings and lake view, house comfortable accommodated my huge family of 16. Has everything, all utensils mentioned. We had multiple sightings of deers right on our backyard which was awesome for the kids. We will definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the lake. The host and her husband were extremely responsive and helpful. During our 4 day stay we did not have any issues. Amazing family memories made. Thank you!

The home was great for our group of 13. Hot tub and pool table were great to have and there was plenty of spaces to convene all together for games.

House is very big and spacious. Lots of sitting area. House was clean. Backyard is amazing . I wish the pool was heated. It was very cold. He did specify that it wasn’t heated but it would have been a plus. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the game room. We also hung out at the club house and enjoyed the sprinkler park, pools and tennis court. Kids had such a blast. We had a great vacation.

The space was as described and pictured! The adults and children enjoyed the open concept, game room, and outdoor space.

Our family loved staying at Elyse's home! The big kids had a blast playing the games in the basement while the grown-ups enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Elyse went out of her way to ensure the driveway and walkways were salted as there was a lot of ice. She was a wonderful host and we would definitely return!

Spent a weekend here and I am absolutely going back. I was looking for a peaceful, beautiful and cozy place to just disconnect and recharge and this beautiful home was that and more. We had trouble getting in the house but Bernadette responded quickly and got it taken care of right away. I did not want to leave lol. Highly recommend!!

Everything was great! Host were very friendly & respond quickly, any problems that we had they try to resolve them as quickly as they could! House was very well equipped definitely would stay again, Highly Recommend!

We stayed here while visiting family over Thanksgiving. The place was clean and kitchen was well stocked to do some Thanksgiving meal prep. Linda was very responsive and accommodating.

Host was extremely kind and quick to respond. Very clear details and instructions. She also recommended local places, sent us events going on during our stay, and told us their favorite things to do in the community which was great and helped us decide what to prioritize during our weekend trip! The lake was stunning and we saw tons of wildlife! We had an amazing time and couldn’t have asked for a better host! Thank you for letting us stay!!

Had a wonderful time at Erica’s mountain house. House was so cozy and everything was just as pictured. Erica was flexible about check out time which was so helpful not feeling rushed on our last day. We loved the fire place and sunroom. It was a snowy weekend and we still had a great time.

Was a great stay! Nice location private but not way out of the way that couldn’t reach local attractions easily. Very clean and comfortable accommodations - very well stocked with most basics you would need. The pups loved the yard!

I had the most wonderful experience. From the moment me and my family arrived, we were blown away by how impeccably clean the entire space was. Everything was spotless, from the floors to the bathroom, the beds were extremely comfortable and it truly felt like a home away from home. The area is so peaceful, my dog had a ball being able to enjoy open space. The host was absolutely amazing, super friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed. Communication was seamless, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The entire process was smooth and stress-free. I have already recommended this place to my friends and other family members, and I’ll definitely be back! 5 stars all the way!

Perfect place for us—2 retired’s, 2 of our grown children, their spouses, a grandbaby and 2 dogs! Plenty of room, great kitchen and dr table to accommodate all. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs; the rest of property frequented by many deer which was fun to view. Screened porch great plus. Much fun in game room. Big screen TV’s great for our sports viewing. Great neighborhood for walking. The mattress in mbr too firm for one of us but the other liked. Elyse very responsive to any inquiry though hardly necessary. Every need thoughtfully anticipated. Great host. Even left welcome tray of goodies and fire starters. We liked every restaurant we tried nearby—Forks, Butter, PourHouse, Taproom @Skytop—and great grocery store down the street. Beautiful home, great area, and would definitely stay here again.

5 Stars – Amazing Stay! I had an incredible experience at this Airbnb. The house was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully maintained—even better than the pictures. Everything was spotlessly clean, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. It truly felt like a home away from home. The host was awesome—very professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Communication was easy, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. Would absolutely stay here again! Clean, quiet, and comfy. Coffee maker works well. It feels like a real home. It has the character that comes with a historical house, but at the same time the right things have been updated and renovated to make you feel like a welcome guest. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Heather is super nice, and is very welcoming of dogs, if you have one. If you don’t, you’ll never know dogs have stayed here at all because the place is very well cared for.

My husband & I enjoyed our time here. We would recommend to family / friends. Beautiful & quiet community. Enjoyed seeing the deer greeting us upon our arrival! :)
